I follow Kevin O'Leary and feel he is a smart investor who supports StartEngine. I also like the idea of buying startup companies that seem to be good investments without having to make a large investment.

The service that I have received on several occasions has always been the best possible. I am not that knowledgeable when dealing with stocks and investments and I ask a lot of questions and some are probably pretty silly to people who know that world. Every reply that I get is always very professional and very polite. They try to explain to me using language that I understand and not using a bunch of trading talk. There great service is constantly respectful and I would recommend them to anyone that would ask.

I was recently presented the opportunity to address some concern about my account. My question was promptly replied to, and I was assured that all was fine. As it turns out, it was my own mistake for not understanding it correctly. Yet, the representative empathized with my worries, and explained everything thoroughly, in an easy to understand manner.

StartEngine is a scam. I say this because I have LEGITIMATE PROOF. After they contacted my company by not one not two not even three but 5 different people, the two we spoke to were Ishmael Badzee and Camille Richards. Firstly, neither one could even spell my name correctly which is insulting beyond belief. I told them how to spell it in reply emails... the ignored it and continued to mispell my name on purpose. I politely explained it reply emails that this was bad form. I even went as far as sending our pitch deck, they then ghosted myself and my company. StartEngine has no problems having failed college students do their own job but when it comes to actually helping someone, StartEngine seriously can not help their own founders get out of a paper bag. DEFINITELY DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with this JOKE of a company. Go to angel investors instead

User error! Turns out I used two login ids by mistake. Once Blake looked into it, it was an easy fix. Great service and follow up to make sure it worked. The app plain doesn’t work. First it asked for verification info. I get it I worked in banking/brokerage. But the link didn’t work. Got a deep link error. Found the verification page on the app but it wasn’t obvious. Uploaded pic of DL after two tries. Said I was good. Then got message they need SSN and address but it took me back to DL page. Frustrating.

My experience has been great so far. There is thorough written explanation on how the investment(s) work, then there was a video. I had an error on my personal info that could greatly impact me purchasing equity in an expedited manner, but Nicole from StartEngine took care of it very quickly and let me know what she did and when to expect seeing changes. I am very happy with the service!
