I’m not sure whether the delayed responses were due to the individual handling my emails or the company’s overall process. However, the lack of timely communication regarding my ongoing investment has left me disappointed with the level of customer service provided after the investment was made.

I invested in a SE startup more than two years ago. All that I wanted was to show my investment alignment with the company. I have attempted several times to reach out to the company for some type of feedback, and it is like a ghost town. My goal was to invest more, but how can I; when the company I invested with ignores my communication.

Stay away from them, you won’t get your money back. It took a long back and forth, but Lane-Primiles finally helped me sort everything out.

I invested in Start Engine in 2022 and I can’t withdraw my funds invested and I don’t get a response. Don’t invest! It’s 2026 and I can’t get my money out.

Total fraudsters, they say 3 years to liquidity in the 5 companies I invested in, 5 years later on they now say 10 years, your "investment" is a donation made legal with fine print.

They have ZERO customer service and none of their so called great start ups do anything. It’s a complete JOKE. They NEVER REPLY, nor return your calls. DON’T INVEST WITH THEM.

I have had stock with StartEngine for about 3 years and want to end my dealings with them but I have found no way to end it. I bought stock in Splashwines and the company made money but I didn’t see any of it. StartEngine may be a fraud

Horrible customer support with responses often taking days and then just vague answers. Their disclaimers say they don’t recommend stocks, but their listings are at best “pushy”. As a relatively experienced investor with over 50 years in the markets, my opinion is that this site is very close to the line both ethically and professionally when it come to treating customers fairly, especially for those with little or no experience in the stock market. I wrote this review on May 11th and just got a comment from their folks.... on May 26th. I rest my case! I also tried several times to get answers from them and kept getting “we’ll get back to you” responses but no real answers to address issues. Their response to my post is essentially the same as what the say when you contact them with a question.
