I ordered a phone, they emailed me and said they ran out of stock but new stock was coming in, however I would need to pay a higher price. Because we are a school I cannot ammend Credit card orders so I had to cancel then re-order. Then when that one was supposed to ship they sent me an email stating that the phones failed quality check and cancelled my order, but they have the phone listed on their site for an even higher price now. Clearly they have stock, they just think they can get more money then they already agreed to sell it for. We will never use this company again.

The part I ordered is not what I received and it had goopy sticky stuff all over it. I tried to reach out to customer service and they never responded

Most of the people I dealt with were wonderful except for one male who was disagreeable. I neglected to get his name. My problem is with the phone. First, I was told that I ordered a second hand phone. I would not pay this much for a second hand phone. Second, the phone does not work properly. I have tried multiple times and there are multiple problems with it so I will be returning it. I do not like having to deal with this hassle.

I received some parts of the order with missing power cable and phone cable. I have been trying to get the missing parts without success. I am considering returning the product back Startechtel.com.

Ordered a headset for a specific phone that was listed on the site make and model and when the headset arrived it was not compatible with phone as it stated on the site. I requested to return the headset as it did not fit and was told it was not returnable. very sad since it stated on the site it was for the phone and then they would not issue a refund

SCAMMERS! Run as far away as you can from business and the FRAUD they are committing. This so-called “business” is the shady used car lot of IP telephone and networking hardware. They operate on eBay as “strt99” and most of the items you see on their website are purchased there, then resold on their website at 2-4x the price. Beware, the item you buy may be a well-used item sourced from eBay! This explains some of the other negative reviews from other people that dealt with this business – they buy used hardware in all kinds of conditions and then try to sell them through their website to unsuspecting customers. I had the misfortune of dealing with this scammer, specifically with George Sayegh. They bought one of my used hardware items on eBay, physically damaged my product and then claimed it was damaged in shipping. Then abused eBay’s return policy to make a false claim and commit return fraud. Oh and also threatened to report me to eBay (for something?) when I told them I knew exactly what they were doing with their scammy scheme. My response to their threats was a promise to: 1) also report them to eBay (done) 2) put them on blast on social media (we are here). The item I shipped was in good working condition (I have photographic proof and personally ensured the machine boots up). Almost a week after receiving my item this joker says I shipped a unit that was dead and it was damaged during shipping due to poor packaging. I asked them for a picture of the item and shipping box and there was zero damage to the box it was shipped in. The cracked LCD and bent pins on the power supply just do not happen in shipping without at least mildly noticeable damage to the box. Also, I packaged the item with enough padding between the items and have photos to prove it. I had these scammers ship my item back to me, and in addition to the cracked and now non-working LCD, and damaged power supply, there was a large dent in the front of the panel. I have photo and video proof of opening the undamaged, intact shipping box upon receipt showing the damage to the item inside. These are pretty sturdy items (Grandstream UCM6510) and that kind of damage occurs only through pure negligence of the person handling the item after unpacking it or through purposeful damage. BTW, they bought this item from me through eBay for $500 and sell the same exact item on their site for $2K. LOL what a bunch of clowns. Super shady business doing scams with eBay returns, sourcing parts for their damaged and non-working items in their own inventory. I eagerly await some pathetic comeback to this review from George Sayegh so he can try to cover up his return fraud scheme. As promised, here is one of your negative reviews, LOL!

The phone could not plug into the wall jack and the company would not refund. Extremely disappoitned with the worthless purchase.

received the wrong part, startechtel refused to take it back saying it was a special order, which I was not made aware of when ordering, and would not refund the charges.
