My wife Debbie and I connected with StartAbroad to help us with receiving our Costa Rica Digital Nomad visas. This involves a fairly complicated application and interviiew process, most of which is conducted in Spanish. Working with Zach and Anna has been a dream - they explained everything clearly and completely, assisted us in completing the applications and filed them on our behalves, gave clear indication of what the various steps and costs would be, and scheduled our final in-person interviews according to the availability dates we provided them. The entire process went very smoothly - even when there were a couple of small hiccups, Zach and Anna engaged the Immigration Department and made sure it all worked out. We've both successfully received our visas at this point - I can't thank StartAbroad enough, and recoommend them wholeheartedly! ~ Tony Valentino

Zach is the best! I'm very happy I got in touch with StartAbroad, and I appreciate their help, support, and guidance throughout the entire visa process. I would highly recommend working with them. Their communication is concise, clear, and frequent. They are always willing to help and clarify anything you are unsure about. Thanks so much! I look forward to working with you again!

I was struggling with my Costa Rica Digital Nomad Visa application - the process was much more complex then I thought it would be. I reached out to StartAbroad and they helped me navigate the process for myself and my daughter. They are very quick to respond and very knowledgeable. If you're getting your Digital Nomad Visa in Costa Rica, I'd recommend working with them to make your life much easier. They also have other really useful services for expats such as assistance with purchasing a vehicle. Thanks again StartAboard!

As a concierge client Start Abroad handled every necessary detail for a successful purchase of property in Portugal and pathway to the Golden Visa. I am on my way! Time was everything for me and the concierge fee was well worth the price and in fact was a "steal" given that they handled every detail from property assessment, all in-country expertise including buyer's realtors, specialist attorneys, hotels, car rentals etc. I was able to avail myself of all the necessary services including that Zach accompanied me in Portugal. In so doing it helped me manage my time and focus. Additionally, it was fun along the way.

We greatly appreciated the personable and the concierge service that StartABroad offered. Anne, listened to what we said and what we did not say and helped us plan a very fun, but strategic exploratory trip. We were able to see multiple cities during our very brief visit and have a lot of fun along the way.

We hired StartAbroad to help us find a long-term rental in Portugal and we're extremely happy that we did. Because we wanted to be in the Algarve where longer term rentals aren't easy to find, Anna from StartAbroad helped us create a wish list that matched our budget still managed to check the boxes that were important to us. Based on that, she compiled listings for us to see as soon as we touched down in Portugal from the US. Armed with that, and a little bit of luck, we were able to find a home that was everything we'd hoped for! We feel very confident recommending StartAbroad to anyone looking to relocate abroad.

It was an ultimate pleasure working with StartAboard, from start to finish they took care of every minor detail. Their service took loads of pressure off my hands as you can imagine all the small details and variables you have to consider when moving to a different country. Anna was on the ball and managed to secure a property, scooter and even connected me with a bunch of church groups as I was looking to do some mission work (which was a unique request from my end). Anna was also very organized and had a well thought out process that gives you peace of mind and security. And her research was top notch! I would highly recommend StartAboard if you are looking to relocate or even have them plan out your next vacation.

Moving from Toronto to Costa Rica has been challenging but ultimately very much worth it so far. One of the obstacles was how to bring our large dog Ruby, down to CR. I was referred to StartAbroad and had many discussions with Anna regarding how we can get Ruby down to CR without breaking the bank even before we had spent a dollar on her services. Many options were outrageously expensive so we decided to let the pros figure out a way that was affordable. After much research and phone calls and super hard work, Anna was able to get Ruby down at a fraction of the cost with constant follow ups and updates. We highly recommend StartAbroad for all your pet transport needs.
