StartAbroadReviews of startabroad.com

My family of three used start abroad to get our D7 visas for Portugal. Anna was very communicative and knowledgeable about all of the steps to get our visas. The shared google drive documents and charts helped keep us on track to meet deadlines. We felt supported and prepared during the entire process.

StartAbroad service is top-notch! The team is very friendly, personable and professional. We used their help to move to Costa Rica with 3 pets (two cats and one large dog). They have a very widespread network of all sorts of connections and resources. The team was a huge help with finding a place to live that satisfied all our requirements and some. They provided us with the best option for relocating our Siberian husky that worked out perfectly. When you move abroad, there are so many different things involved, and you can't know all of the details and the best ways for doing it unless you've done it before. And even if you do your own research, there's always more to it that you don't know. We can't even imagine having to do all of this by ourselves. Anna and Zach helped us make our move go very smoothly with minimum stress. Very grateful for your great services! Highly recommend to anyone who's moving with family, pets and lots of luggage.

I wanted to give a big shoutout to Zack and Anna from StartAboard! 🎉 We met them through the "Move to Portugal Summit", and let me tell you, they were a game-changer. Their expertise on the Visa process was invaluable, and they made what seemed like a daunting task quite manageable. At first, the idea of someone helping us find an apartment without really knowing us felt a bit unusual. But Zack and Anna proved us wrong. Working with Zack and Anna was a breeze. Thanks for making our move to Portugal a smooth operation, StartAboard! We are Truly Grateful. Dawn & Ralph Shaffer

StartAbroad saved me so much time, stress and headaches!! I absolutely recommend their work, they completely supported me from step A to step Z with my visa process and I honestly don’t think I would’ve been able to get through this complicated and extensive process without them! Thank you so much startAbroad team! Special shoutout to Mr Zach , he was always responsive to my nervous questions and for that I am deeply grateful!

I don't know how we would have been able to settle into our Pura Vida as well as we did without Zach, Anna, and the Start Abroad team. We can't recommend them enough. When we first came up with the dream of relocating our whole family, including 2 kids under 4, it was just that a dream. We knew Costa Rica was the destination, but that was about it. Zach and Anna helped coach us through all we needed in order to find a town, community, apartment, school, car, and more. They made sure someone was there at the airport(s) to pick up us and our mountains of luggage. They were a WhatsApp away when we had random questions and concerns. Thank you Zach and Anna for making this dream a reality. We

My wife and I recently worked with Startabroad in our search for a retirement home in Costa Rica. Zach and Anna were professionals in every way. They determined our needs/wants and catered an itinerary for us to spend fifteen days exploring the country. We could not have been more pleased with their service. Every aspect of the trip was perfectly coordinated. Startabroad made an otherwise difficult task a seamless journey. Zach and Anna answered all our questions, offered suggestions and expert advice, recommended locations and restaurants and even arranged our rental car with a discount. Further, they availed themselves to us throughout our journey by quickly responding to emails and messages. We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to explore or move to Costa Rica. Beyond offering a top quality service, Zach and Anna are top quality people who are honest, open and easy to deal with.

I’m so glad Start Abroad exists! It made getting my digital nomad visa a breeze. Zach kept me well-informed every step of the way. He thoroughly answered any question I had. Plus, he followed up quickly so I was never in the dark about anything. I truly appreciate his professionalism — from taking care of all necessary translations, staying on top of all deadlines for submitting documentation, and putting together my application. Moving can be a challenge, so having a company like Start Abroad make the process easier meant there was one less thing to worry about. It gave me peace of mind and freed up my time to focus on other things.

Zach and his team at StartAbroad were absolutely fantastic. Im not one to normally write a review, but in this particular case I thought it was totally warranted. These guys saved our family so much time - it's quite difficult to quantify the value of their service. One thing for sure, for the small amount that they charged us for facilitating our digital nomad visas - in comparison to the huge amount of time we saved, is substantial! Very pleasant to work with, very professional, clearly they care very much about what they are doing and their work reflects this. Being able to work with a business that has such a strong, solution based work ethic, combined with a really pleasant and easy interaction makes for a great experience. Thanks again guys!
