I expected more from these aids. I thought that the AI would deliver more understanding of softer spoken speech.

The edge mode is very nice & I’ve been using it. I also love the recharging battery, which is different than my previous hearing aid. Although making adjustments through the iPhone is very convenient on this model, I miss being able to adjust the sound UP & DOWN (2 buttons on the ear piece, instead of one.). It now has to go through all of the settings every time I need to adjust the sound, instead of just hitting either button.

We need a better interface between the iPhone and Starkey. The microphone covers need to be a little firmer when user is wearing Starkey, oxygen and glasses. Overall, they do a great job. The Holy Grail of hearing a close conversation be understandable with exterior noise is still being sought.

I have been wearing Starkey hearing aides for a little over 10 years. My aids come from the VA. Both the aids and the supplier have been top notch with their service and the product. My latest devices are the Evolv AI. They are the best so far! They stream seamlessly to my iPhone and switch instantly to my truck. Along with the Thrive app, I can set the aids to accommodate almost any hearing environment. The addition of the television setting, in the app, is really helpful. A large part of my hearing disability is very poor word recognition. I still need to rely on watching the speakers face to pickup on some words.

I like the THRIVE app! It helps me see when my hearing aid is not blue toothed to my phone. Sometimes one or the other, not at the same time, will drop off. Over all I do like my Starkey hearing aids.

I think the aids are fine. I think the app needs to be updated. Some features I can use. Some features I’ve tried but don’t work for me.

I love having hearing aids. It can be a big love/hate relationship somedays but i really enjoy being able to hear everything and tune out the noises my ears make.

I have had two pair of Starkey ITC hearing aids ( Muse and Picasso), now going to a RIC Livio. Since wearing hearing aids about 5 years ago, I have enjoyed getting together with people, going places (sports games of grandchildren, plays, watching tv and understanding what was said, listening to country music, etc.). While it took a while to get use to them, it has “paid off” in the long run. One of the best accessories I got was a SurfLink remote, which I am told that it will not work with the Livio. Wish I could trade it in for on that will work with Livio. Disappointed you have to buy different accessories for different levels/models of Starkey products.
