You may have noticed that my MS has impacted my ability to walk and climb stairs. When I got stuck on the basement stairs, unable to lift my foot over the final lip, and had to wait 2 hours for my husband to return from a family dinner... that was the deciding factor. Now I have 2 Stannah Stairlifts; the first is a gorgeous curved lift from the first floor to the second floor, the other travels from the basement to the first floor. They are the best gifts I ever gave myself. Easy, secure, and well used by me and my visiting elderly mother. my recuperating-from-surgery-husband, and lots of grocery and shopping bags. I may be one of the youngest users (well, I was when I first got them!) but I will attest to their usefulness forever. Everyone at Stannah has been wonderful to work with, polite, knowledgeable, approachable at any time. If you cannot climb stairs anymore, please be kind to yourself, put your imagined fears away. We looked at alternative lifts, but trusted the Stannah reviews and couldn't be happier. The lift is a straight run covering 14 steps and has been a Godssend for my wife. My only regret is that we didn't contact Stannah sooner. The workmanship, product quality and techs are first rate and we would recommend Stannah to anyone willing to listen.

Stannah Stairlifts are the way to go if you are downsizing to a 55 and older complex. It comes in handy if you have an elderly visitor or if someone is injured and can't climb your stairs, or if that package is just too be to carry up the stairs. The people are very knowledgeable and accomadating when you are making your decision on your choice of the right to choose. After looking into other companies, I am glad I went with Stannah. Since the lift was installed, I have referred Stannah to a few people.

I've researched different stairlifts for my parents. Stannah came in and made my parents feel at ease right way. The installation went well. It has allowed my parents to remain in their home. The Stannah people were wonderful to work with and they stood behind the product when it needed to be serviced. I recommend Stannah if you are in the market for a stairlift.

Worked well for us. The batteries did fail before a 6month period but were replaced.

It's wonderful to not have to climb stairs. The stairlift does everything Stannah said it would.
