Bad Info from ss396
When I called to find out about my order. The girl said that there was a 2 month delay for ss396 to get the parts from the manufacturer. Then I got the past a few days later.

We apologize for any confusion regarding the backorder timeframe. The estimate provided during your call was two weeks, but the part arrived earlier than anticipated and shipped that day. Manufacturer availability dates are estimates, so parts may occasionally arrive earlier or later than expected. We’re glad yours arrived early!

Defective Parts
The center caps did not fit and the prongs were brittle and lacked flexibility. One broke while trying to install. The Customer Service representative was rude. Ground Up only offered me a return on the 3 I didn't open but they would not take responsibility for the parts not fitting. I'm guessing they will restock and resell these defective parts to someone else. I bought replacement parts from a competitor and they fit.

We’re sorry the center caps did not fit and that you had a disappointing customer service experience. Returned merchandise is evaluated before being placed back into inventory, and return options are based on the condition of the merchandise and our Returns & Claims Policy.

LED Light Kit
The LED light kit from my order was missing light bulbs. I feel that I need to be sent a replacement kit since this order was incomplete.

Poor support so far compared to other vendors
2 of 3 packages arrived quickly. The third package tracking (Fedex) shows it sitting at a GA location with no updates. I called Ground Up yesterday and was told to wait overnight to se if it changes and to call back if not. Today I call back and I'm told I needed to wait 10 days before they could process a claim. I asked if they could ship another replacement so I'm not holding up a shop bay & customer and we could deal with the missing item after the 10 day period - no go. They refused to help. I run a restoration shop

Hi Travis, we’re sorry to hear about your experience. After further investigation into the issue we found that a manager spoke with you right around when this review was posted. During that conversation, it was explained that while carrier claims do have a standard waiting period, we would still send a replacement at no charge. So your shop would not be held up while we worked through the issue on the backend. Our goal is always to keep our customers projects moving, especially when you have a vehicle in the shop and timelines matter. At no point was assistance refused, we were actively working toward a solution. If there was any confusion, we’re more than willing to resolve it and ensure everything is taken care of properly. $30 shipping on a $20 part and I chose…
$30 shipping on a $20 part and I chose standard shipping. Don't understand that.

Jeff, unfortunately shipping costs have risen lately. We do not make a dime on shipping. Some regions can be higher than others to ship to as well. It looks like you got it in just two days, so it's possible you selected a quicker shipping time, or that was all that was offered to your address at the time. We wish shipping was cheaper, but it is out of our hands. We do offer free shipping promotions though, so always keep an eye out for those.

Not enough tape to complete the…
Not enough tape to complete the job.luckily I purchased two kits. but now I have to order a 3rd to complete the second set of stripes. The tape isnt the same diameter as the stencile so had to modify the stencile to make perfect stripes.
