We’re sorry this backorder caused such a frustrating experience. At the time of purchase, the item was listed as backordered with no estimated availability, and you chose to keep it on order. It was later canceled after the manufacturer discontinued it, and a refund was issued to the original form of payment. For security reasons, our representatives cannot disclose full card information, but they did provide the date the refund was processed. Regarding the related return, glass items are nonreturnable under our policy. We regret that the outcome was not what you expected.

After inspecting the part and the concerns you raised, we confirmed the same bend was present across our remaining inventory and in the manufacturer’s product imagery, indicating that it was produced in that form. Our team offered to explore sourcing one from another supplier and was transparent about the drop-ship cost, although we could not guarantee another version would be manufactured differently. We also agreed to process a full refund that day. The five-day timeframe referenced was simply the maximum time some financial institutions may take to return the funds. We understand your disappointment, but shouting at our staff and stating that you would not leave until the refund appeared was unacceptable. We believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, and this is not conduct we are willing to ask our employees to accept simply to retain a customer. While we’re disappointed this experience did not meet your expectations, we believe our team’s character is best reflected by the hundreds of customers who have shared positive experiences with us, including those who regularly shop in person at our counter.
