I have been with Sprout for 5 years and have recently decided to cancel due to their poor service, posts failing and high prices. After contract cancellation they continued to debit my account and are now ignoring my emails for a refund. Had to go to my card supplier to dispute the charge.

Sprout Social has some decent software but the sales department and customer service people use lies, deception and constant upsells to run their business.

Sprout Social is a sham. I'm currently trying to cancel this contract, and like everyone else, they say that I can't. I have not had a post go to Instagram in months and they will not help me with the issue. They send responses to my emails a week later and then don't follow up. They absolutely refuse to call me back. Support is non existent. I am at a loss and don't know how to stop this. Do not use Sprout Social!

I was under the impression that my account with them had been canceled. But last month I got billed again. After a week's worth of emails and even a phone call, I was told they were going to keep my money.

Do not use Sprout Social. After auto-reneval they won't let you cancel. Support is useless and they won't even let you correct an invoice.

Do not use Sprout Social. Their sales team will purposefully not inform you that there is an auto-renew clause. The only communication you will get is from their billing team saying you owe them another 12 months fee. The customer support is terrible and we got no value from using this product.

Unfortunately, the negative reviews are real. We've had Sprout for 15 months and I believed we signed 12 month contract. As of January, all of the service orders sent to us by the company designated the contract as MONTHLY. We are not seeing the value in this product for the price point ($350/MONTH), so we initiated cancellation proceedings only to be told that we have 9 months left on our contract and will be responsible for paying the balance. We have now asked them for their Counsel contact information - to no avail. This company operates in bad faith. There are no renewal reminders, their documentation regarding the type of contract signed is misleading, and their customer service is rude when you seek to exercise your right to cancellation.

Very negative experience with them. They charge a very high price point, which would be ok if the customer service matched the premium cost. Sadly it does not. The software is fine but honestly, there are many other better companies that offer a much better service and a lot lot cheaper.
