Took 12 days from placing my order to delivery of my order. For this high quality product, the shipping process needs improvement.

Unfortunately…
Unfortunately, the quality of the shoes have gone down while the prices have gone up. The photographs are good but once you get the product it’s disappointing. I’ve been shopping with Spring Step shoes since 2017 and loved the quilted padding and quality leather they had in their shoes, I felt energetic and could play basketball ball in them if I wanted. I still have a pair that I’m going to re-soled. I worked in retail before the pandemic and was on my feet 12-14 hours a day and had no problem. I have ordered two pairs of boots from them in the last year and they are both terrible. They are made of PU and rub on the sides and at the toe, very uncomfortable. Unfortunately I’ve already worn them so can’t return them, so I will be donating them to charity. I think the only shoes that might be worth buying are from L’Artiste. Delivery is always quick.

Shipped two items correct but received…
Shipped two items correct but received a wrong pair of shoes, wrong size and style. Now I have to send their mistake back via Fed Ex which is inconvenient for me and they need to have the misshipped shoes back before they will ship out the correct pair.

Wrong item received, below average resolution
I ordered the green Fusaro loafers. After waiting a week for them to arrive, I opened the package and inside were grey fusaro loafers. I emailed asking for a return label and expedited shipping for my the correct order (green). You refused to expedite and refused to ship the replacement until you received the grey pair. By then another two weeks will have passed. I gave this two stars because the “exchange” is technically “free” (costs not money), but it certainly will take more time and effort on my part. Poor customer service for an error you made.

Great shoes, disappointing service
First: I love the actual shoes that are made by Spring Step. I've worn them for years at my mostly-standing-and-walking hospital job. They are extremely comfortable and stylish. So in May I ordered 3 pairs directly from SpringStepShoes.com, along with the $7.96 "Free Returns and Shipping Protection", as I ordered a couple of different sizes (my feet are slightly different sizes so I might wear a 7.5 or an 8). About a week later they refunded one of the pairs, because it was out of stock despite being shown as available on their website. Then they sent me a pair of shoes in a size that I didn't order. Then they told me that another one of the pairs of shoes that showed in-stock was also unavailable and refunded that. THEN they said that the remaining pair was not going to be available until late August which was totally not OK, and I had to ask *multiple* times for them to refund that, which they finally did. I'm still waiting to see if they will grant my request to refund the $7.96 return shipping/package protection since the only thing they sent me was something I didn't order and couldn't use, and I received nothing of what I ordered. So: I will continue to purchase Spring Step shoes, but never again from their website.
