SPOT Pet Insurance has simplified my reimbursement policy for my pet when he has visits for preventative wellness. They have made this experience very positive and I have had no issues with claims, and they are straightforward about the process. If your looking for an effortless way of your dog or cats insurance for reimbursement to cover expenses on your animals care then this is the company you want to have.

Horrible customer service after filed a claim for ear infection. They requested pets records from Vet. Sent them. Claim denied for pets vet records same as had been sent. This happened 3 more times with me going to vets office last time with claims dept. on speaker phone with vet office clerk. Denied again. This time because of said it was pre existing. Pet had a allergy rash on leg in the past! My recommendation with Spot is Stay Away! Swithed to them from insuror to add another pet. Big mistake! You get what you pay for. I would think they spend most of their internal money on researching how to connect any past illness to being pre-existing to save them money. Of course I have canceled. Never Spot again.

Hi there, we understand the frustration when claims are denied. We do our best to be transparent regarding our Pre- existing conditions policy. Much like other providers, our plans don’t cover conditions showing signs before your coverage starts, as documented by your vet. For further assistance, please call our team at 1-800-905-1595 (M-F 8am-8pm, Sat 9am-5pm EST).

We got a rescue dog and immediately signed up for Spot Insurance. Our policy has been in effect for a year, and when wour pet needed surgery, we were glad we had Spot Insurance. We had a $250 deductible, but not too bad, considering our bill was $2500. Once we had all our documentation from the Vet in to Spot, they paid a good portion of the cost. We were delighted.

Don't buy insurance from Spot Insurance! They don't pay out claims even though they have received ALL information requested!! Don't take peoples money if there is more needed to even have the policy!!!!!
