I like that each time I submit a claim for my dog expenses, Spot Insurance responds back to me in a timely manner. Also, the refund amount is sent to me as soon as the claim is approved in a one to two day timeframe. I am very happy that I have Spot Insurance and I will recommend them to other pet owners.

The app is great as is the option for direct deposit. Overall processing is slow. Started a claim with the appropriate emergency vet paperwork on a Tuesday (day after visit). Had to wait at least a week only to be told needed pet’s vet records going back almost 2-years. Thankfully my vet provided to me same day which I provided to SPOT the day I was notified of the request. Then had to wait another week for the claim to finally be approved before the payment was initiated. The whole process took 2.5 weeks, with me providing immediate appropriate documentation, which seems notably longer than it should for a legitimate claim which I know this policy covers.
