Service fees
Service fees are outrageous! Could have just called the RV park and saved money!
Response from Spot2NiteJul 14, 2023
Hi Sammy, thank you for your feedback and for using Spot2nite. We do charge a convenience fee (often less than 10%,) to connect our guests with real time visibility and instant booking for hundreds of parks in North America. I noticed that your reservation also incurred sales tax and a booking fee directly from the campground. We are glad to see that you were able to apply your Good Sam discount, and we are always happy to help you apply other discounts you may be eligible for. Safe travels! -Emily at Spot2Nite

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We strive for total transparency with every Spot2Nite purchase, which is why every line of your cost is broken down in the shopping cart before checkout, as well as your confirmation email and receipt. We honor the policies of each individual campground, including their taxes and fees for each transaction. If you would like to discuss your individual reservation, we would love to chat with you by phone, email or text. Safe travels! -Emily @ Spot2Nite

Not Happy…
First of all we thought we were making a reservation through Good Sam's and were totally unaware there would be a booking fee. The Good Sam's membership number to fill in did not stand out to us. When we cancelled our reservations, we cancelled them through the park we where were booked and the communication between the two was nonexistent. SO I had to track down the refund. By the way the RV Park was very helpful.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. There is an opportunity before you check out to add any discount memberships into your shopping cart, including Good Sam. There is also the ability to add any memberships in the Spot2Nite account, I would be happy to walk you through that and we can cancel it for you as well. Our goal is for you to never miss out on a discount while using Spot2Nite! Safe travels!

Thanks for using Spot2Nite and for your feedback! We strive for total transparency with every Spot2Nite transaction, so you can see the cost of your spot, plus the taxes and fees from the park as well as our convenience fee to keep the platform running before you check out in the cart. I noticed you haven’t yet loaded any discount memberships into your profile, which I’d be happy to help you do! This way, any military, Good Sam, AAA, etc. discounts you may be eligible for will automatically apply to your cart for participating parks to give you the best possible price for your stay. I’m always here if you’d like to talk through your reservation or any future stays! Safe travels! Emily at Spot2Nite

Thank you for the review however I believe this is in error. We do not sell or offer tickets, but rather provide real-time visibility and instant booking at RV resorts across North America. We are Spot2Nite and look forward to seeing you again. Terry / Spot2Nite

Payment not received by campground.
The campground received our reservation for 1 nught but upon arrival, they asked for our payment. I explained that I paid Spot2Nite. I was told they would look into it. However, I received a call from them in a day or two again telling me that they did not receive the payment from you. I offered to send them my receipt from you.

Thank you for the feedback. We have reached out to the park and reviewed our process that guarantees payment of all Spot2Nite travelers. Additionally, we have updated all email channels to their system. Your review was very helpful. Thank you / Terry / Co-Founder

Happy and sad
When we arrived one of the park employees escorted us by golfcart to site 53 (assigned to us) then drove off. We backed our Travel trailer in & began setup. When we went to pull in to the electric the post read 54 we plugged in which Must have signaled the office. There was a tent on site 53 & a 5th wheel on 52 both unsightly sites! There was no way for us to park on53. An employee came down told us to plug into electric post 53 (which was behind our neighbors tent) we did. The office never addressed the people on 52& 53 . Needless to said those that came in on our other side had our same problem. No one in the office ever addressed the issue with those on 52 & 53. By the condition those unkept sites they're permanent. The pool, water slide and entertainment were great!

Additional fees upfront
Didn’t like the additional fees added on after price shown. The prices per night should reflect the additional fees
Response from Spot2NiteApr 17, 2023
Thank you so much for using Spot2Nite! We do strive to have total transparency. Because every park has differences in collecting taxes and fees based on location and park policy, there will always be a breakdown of your payment at your checkout screen. If you ever have a question about any transaction, we are here to help!
