Thought I would have an opportunity to request a discount for Veterans
Response from Spot2NiteMay 2, 2023
Good evening Harry. While we work to make it easier to find, I've already added it to your profile. You can add others as well in your profile at spot2nite.com. From one vet to another, thank you for your service and for calling it to my attention. Terry / USAF Retired

a 25% charge for taxes & fees on top of the base rate is excessive. Staff was friendly
Response from Spot2NiteApr 23, 2023
Hi Andy, Thank you for using Spot2Nite! Our team looked into your reservation to make sure that there were no issues. We do strive for total transparency and prior to checkout there is always a breakout of taxes and fees. In addition, our service fee to operate the platform and provide a safe as well as secure way to book, never exceeds 10% of the nightly rate and is often less. In this case, due to the state and campground which you booked, there are some larger taxes that are associated with those that camp in CA. We would also invite you to fill out your profile with memberships discounts, veteran and/or first responder so that we may apply those discounts should you be eligible at check-out. If you ever have a question about any transaction, we are here to help! Sam @ Spot2Nite

Your website did not allow me to use a credit card that I have been using for years and kept telling me that my security code was wrong when in fact I entered it correctly five times.

Hi Karl, thanks so much for using Spot2Nite! We’re sorry that you experienced frustration booking with your credit card number. Our team identified a bug thanks in part to your reservation that was being stubborn with CVC codes for certain card types. We were able to find a great solution, so the next time you book, there should be no frustration involved! We hope to see you down the road!

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I’m happy to report we will be rolling out an update to our checkout process next week which will allow customers to add multiple club memberships and organizations (Good Sam, First Responders, etc) to their profile. If a campground offers a discounted rate for any of your memberships, Spot2Nite will automatically apply the highest discount available at the time of checkout. We hope to see you again soon! Thank you / Mike / CPO
