Terrible experience, Terrible customer support. Their system was down and they tried to blame my bank . I had my bank on a 3 way call with one of their representatives. They tried to blame my bank again but the bank representative set them straight and let them know it was there out of date system that was down , and was the reason my order was not going through. A person from sportsman guide said they would call me back when this issue was resolved. They did call back and had nothing but excuses. Instead of giving me a discount for my next purchase, they simply said they couldn’t help me and told me they didn’t care if I went else were to spend my money. I don’t not recommend, they do not value your money.

I ordered one of The Sportsman Guide's gas masks, one of the Serbian M2s they had advertised. Considering the M2s are harder to find in a full kit, I was happy to see they were selling it for such a good price, and even paid and extra 5$ for faster shipping. I had previously purchased a Serbian Military Surplus Monocular with Leather Case and was satisfied with my previous purchase. Unfortunately, they shipped me a completely different mask than what was advertised, a Serbian M1 from the 1970s which I could have purchased for much cheaper from other sources. When I wrote in to complain about this and their product page being deceptive, all they agreed to do was refund the 5$ shipping. Nearly a month later, they have not updated their store page and haven't posted any of the reviews I've written on the product. I recently sent them another complaint on this matter, and they have yet to respond. Do not buy their products, especially their gas masks.

They list some items as being US Military surplus, then you get some chinese knockoff. FR-HQ Brand is not US Military its Chinese.

DO NOT PURCHASE FIREARMS FROM THIS COMPANY. They sent my firearm in the wrong finish and refuse to do anything about it. Customer Service Supervisor Michelle was rude and told me I was SOL. Some customer service!

If you want to wait a month to get a crappy product then buy from here. Take care of your customers or you will no longer have them!!!

The company charges for shipping and handling, yet my product doesn't get delivered without paying an additional fee. Customer Service wants to tell me that S&H does not cover the charges for the lift gate needed to get my product off the back of the truck... I explained that it's not considered an "option" to purchase the lift gate when it's a necessity, and they should add that to the charges automatically. Instead I was told that I could cancel the order or pay the additional charges to get my items off a truck (Trucking company charges $180) that sits in the next city over. Wow! Horrible way of handling things, and I would NEVER GO WITH THIS COMPANY if it's even a consideration. There's too many options out there to settle for their poor service. Just wanted to add that the advertised free shipping and handling with purchases over x amount was not removed, even with the fees I paid for the bulk (that cannot be waived), they added the 19.99 back on the bill. To Sportsman's Guide, The outdoorsman world is a small one, and word travels fast. Ya'll better figure out how to take care of your customers before your company joins the many previous companies that have failed before you. The fact that my customer service representative became the middle man, and the escalations department chose to talk through him instead of discussing things with me, speaks volumes on how you run a company.
