Poor website inventory accuracy. They let you order items, knowing they are out of stock. Ridiculous back order and refund timelines. Now refusing to answer calls for customer service. A dumpster fire of a company from what I can tell. Poorly led, structured, and managed. I think they used to be good once a upon a time. I suspect ownership/management must have changed over. I will never order from them again.

I submitted this review to Sportsman's Guide and was told it did not meet their standards. I guess they don't like anything critical: SG's size chart is wrong. All I wanted was an exchange to get the right size. No, you have to return and reorder. So I returned the $16.19 hat and reordered a second hat in a smaller size. When I got my CC statement I only got $1.19 credit for the $16.19 return. When I called they said I had used their $15 Christmas sale coupon on my original $111 order, so they were taking back the $15 on my refund. I said I was just following their procedure to get the correct size. Too bad! "Customer Satisfaction Guarantee", doesn't apply here! Merry Christmas!

I just recently bought & received the "25' Climbing Sticks" for use with a portable Treestand. The sticks themselves seem like they're built solid, with welds on all the important parts. This product has a 300 lb weight capacity. And, although I'm planning on reinforcing the steps to be stronger, the ratchets that came with it, that are supposed to hold all individual sections snug to the tree, are not built strong enough, for me to trust, when I'm 25 ft up on it. They're junk. And, there were no solid washers to help hold the TREECLAW to main base of climbing stick, solidly.

Attempted to buy a trolling motor through them this spring as they had the best price. Placed the order, item was in stock, everything seemed good to go. Got an email the following day saying to please reach out to the order compliance department before the order could ship. I did so right away, and was told that due to the high dollar amount of the purchase and the shipping address being different than the billing address they just wanted to ensure it was a legitimate purchase as fraud was a concern. It was quickly established that this was not the case, and I was ensured my order would be processed and shipped that day. Awesome! Well.... the following morning a tracking number was assigned to the order (Fedex) and the order was marked as shipped. At the end of that business day I checked the tracking only to find that Fedex was showing it as "unable to locate tracking number/not found". I checked the status several times over the next 2 business days only to get the same result. At that point I contacted Sportsman's guide and explained to them the situation, and questioned whether the tracking number was correct. I was ensured it was the correct tracking number, and it would update any day.... Fast forward 3 more days (now 5 days total.) Still no change to the tracking info. I contact Sportsmans Guide again, concerned about a $1400 order that no one seems to know where it is. They tell me that it never cleared the compliance check and asked me the same questions I already answered 5 days prior and then tell me "the product is now on backorder and will not ship for another 30 days." Unreal. Totally incompetent customer service/compliance department. I cancelled my order and bought through Bass Pro. Very disappointed in Sportsmans Guide and have bought plenty through them prior to this without issue. What upsets me more is that any time there was an issue with the order it was me who had to contact them. Not once did I get a call from them to clear things up. Very disappointing and lackluster service. Take your money elsewhere.

Always sold out,( and/or) out of stock on popular items especially firearms. Maybe it is because they do not have money to keep in stock or the common excuse of not having the space. If they have space for junk ammo like wolf or Russian bear crap, then why not space for quality items???
