Absolutely horrible, this company used to value it's customers unfortunately it's allowed the low prices to translate to low quality employees and service all around. Had an account since 2006, own a guide service here in NY multiple orders throughout the years. I noticed a change in 2019 and since then it's been down hill. You can find better deals on Ebay, Amazon and pretty much anywhere else. Save your time and the stress this place is a sinking ship. Cancelled my 14 year account today 12/17. See ya!

I'm afraid I have to echo the negative reviews for this company. They advertise merchandise at great prices and lute you into signing up for their Buyers Club with the promise of free shipping. Then, once you give them your personal info and complete the transaction they let you know that your product is backordered. I ordered a case of .223 on September 16th. They changed the shipping date 4 times with the current projected date of January 6. Today they were bold enough to charge me $49.99 to renew their worthless membership. Don't fall for their bullsh1t. There are a lot of legitimate businesses that are struggling right now. Support the ones that have ethics.

Not sure this is a legitimate business. My order status showed in process for over a week. Each call to customer service produced a different answer/explanation. No consistency whatsoever in reason for delay. Don’t waste your time with these bozo’s.

Terrible! I found a reasonable price on bulk ammo, which was back ordered but was schedule to be delivered in November. I was willing to wait so I placed an order. In order to save on shipping I signed up for a membership. November came and went and the delivery was delayed to January. I was still willing to wait. In the meantime the price of the identical item went up by 2X and was still available for order on their site. The order I made WAS CANCELLED BY SPORTSMANSGUIDE (EVEN AS THEY CONTINUED TO SELL THE IDENTICAL ITEM FOR 2X AS MUCH!) and they refused to refund the membership i purchased as part of the order, which i had not used at all... as they cancelled the only order I had made. I am baffled that they can operate like this, and can't believe this is even legal?!?

I tried to purchase an ice shanty from these guys back in april during the covid lockdown. Was on back order till around october 22nd. I called and spoke with a young lady which was very nice explained to me that no money would be taken till order has shipped. I paid twice for membership to get the deals offered and discounts. I noticed there was almost 160 bucks taken in payment by sportsman guide. I called after looking at the status on my order. Wouldn't you know it. Not yet shipped. I called a day before next payment was due and asked about my shanty. The man tells me they cant release my order because they need verification of who i am and my address? I lived in the same apt for nearly 7 yrs and the same apartment complex for 17. My credit card has the same address i live at with my wife and daughter. Just want to say THANK YOU sportsman guide for screwing me over on my ice fishing season this year. Id give you 0 rating. These guys will take your money and give you some garbage excuse NOT to send you your product and take your money. Future buyers beware. I decided to try them out because i have an old boss and his kids bought from sportsman guide with no issues. Dont trust em. Sportsman guide is a joke. I bet they dont even try to make things right with potential customers. At least i got my money back. Dont think it was all of it as i believe they kept the 49 bucks membership fees i paid a few times for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I could have had an ice shanty from someplace else had you not screwed me over. NOT A VERY GOOD WAY TO BE ON TERMS WITH WITH YOUR CUSTOMER BASE. You keep this up you'll go out of business.

Dont buy from them bad customer service I ordered votex scope didnt meets my expectations so I sent it back FedEx lost it FedEx wouldn't pay for loss unless sportsman guide signed off on it called them several times they refused to sign off on it fedex wouldn't pay for loss I'm out $420 bad customer service sportsman guide I'll never buy from you again

Do not buy from this company awful customer service if they ever reply scam all the way

The worst customer service ever. Sportsman’s Guide went to crap. I will never order from them again. Why would you even keep the doors open to a place like that. Over 30 days and never received my order so I call I email and I get nothing back . Ended up costing me an additional 250dollars to get my order from another company so that I would have it in time for my hunt trip. They care nothing about their loyal customers who have spent thousands of dollars with them , but I bet they never get another dollar out of this guy.
