Still testing the waters. Using for 5 minutes every morning. Purchased to avoid tanning salons. Wanted to test to see if just the vitamin D aspect will prevent skin itching.

The product arrived promptly and in good condition. The construction is as solid and rugged as you would expect for the price, and it definitely puts out a strong amount of UV. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because I can't say for sure if the lamp is going to confer health benefits or not yet, as I have only had it for two weeks. If my vit D levels are improved after 3 months of consistent use, I would rate 5 stars.

I bought some vitamin D protection goggles and it was really easy to check out. I kind of wish they had padding already attached, but it was easy enough to superglue some craft foam on them and cut them out. I didn’t want to trust the generic offerings online, so I feel the price is justified.

I bought 2 lamps to shorten time I spend suntanning. Both lamps arrived well packed, everything worked out of the box. Based on other reviews, I made sure the lights were tightly seated and had no issues. My only "beaf" with these lamps is that they are red :) There are no colors to choose from, take it or leave it .... As for the results, I only used it twice : first time for 3 minutes front and back and second time for 7 minutes. Although I am pretty fair skinned, I did not burn, which is good but I do not see any tan either, which is a bit dissapointing but not unreasonable. Will see how it goes.

This is a solid product. We had a few hiccups getting it to turn on the first time but Sperti customer service was prompt, courteous and very helpful and we took care of the issue the first time and it has not come back since. The product has worked well for us and the instructions are helpful in proper use. Inclusion of 2 sets of goggles is a nice touch. Though it works perfectly fine, for the premium price point I’d challenge the company to make the product more polished. For example can the timer be digital instead of sounding like a cheap egg timer on grandmas stove? Can the design of the product seem more solidly built smoother edges cooler look etc than a clanky metal box? If someone came and looked at it they would not say cool I want one and when you tell them the price they would certainly balk. We didnt get it for that but a consumer wants to at least feel like they got value for their money. For example a Nest product or iphone from the design to the packaging etc you know there was thought that went into every aspect of the product. Again our Sunlamp works great and does what we bought it to do, I just again think the overall product design and function can be improved upon.

We enjoy our lamp and came with everthing In the package. It came quickly even though it was on back order. Customer service is great! The only thing I thought could use some work is the explanation of how long to use it when first starting out. There isn’t much instruction on HOW to use.. but my entire family is now using it! Love it!
