I got this vitamin D sunlamp because being in the Northeast,it's been a long winter with no sun. I started having symptoms of a deficiency,but struggled taking supplements. They make me feel sick to my stomach. My boyfriend struggles with eczema,and I had read something about vitamin D helping it,so we decided if the lamp helped us it would be a good investment. It came fast and was very easy to use. I also emailed the company a few questions and they were quick to respond and very helpful. It's only been two weeks,but my boyfriend has started noticing his eczema is improving! He has been on steroids a long time and nothing else has been helping,so this is truly wonderful. I have noticed improved energy levels after using the lamp.It was a little expensive,but because it's so hard for us to get any sun (even our balcony in our apartment is mostly shaded) it seems well worth it. We did not want to go to a tanning salon and enjoy getting the vitamin D right in our home. I would definitely recommend this lamp and others who are struggling to get vitamin D.

I was pleased to find the same sunlamps that NIH used in their vitamin D studies. The unit is pretty straightforward, although I sometimes have to turn the lamps in their sockets to get them to turn on.

I ordered the Vitamin D lamp, which came in just several days. It works well and appears to be very well made. I called Sperti for some additional information for its use and got a very helpful woman who told me what I needed to know and said to please call with any other questions. I am very please with the lamp and Sperti.

You get what you pay for with these things.. bought a cheaper version initially and sold it. Glad I made this purchase! Great product!

I appreciate the importance of getting proper exposure to sunlight for keeping up this important hormone precursor Vitamin D and this unit is ideal for this regardless of the weather. I called in regarding the products offered by Sperti and I was very happy with the service I received and it helped me decide on the product I wanted to get. I was able to order it quickly and it arrived in a week. I'm very happy with the quality of the sun lamp and I'm looking forward to using it for years to come. My only issue with it is that I can't get the warranty because I live in Canada and there is no way I could of gotten the warranty returned in 10 days of purchase due to the distance. It would be nice if I can register online.

This is the only lamp that my boyfriend wanted. He is so thrilled with it, and utilizes it on a daily basis. He even swears that he is in a better mood and has more energy after using it. Thanks, Sperti!
