I would like to see some kind of radiation pattern for tanning, like standing in front of the unit for the whole body area. Unit is working just fine as expected and the all over quality is very good. This fine product is very solid and not just a plastic box - it is real metal. Lutz Wiechmann

These things work and they work well so if you buy one follow the instructions. I am so happy to give my testimony because the sun tanning lamp from sperti is now one of my prized possessions. For my entire life I had a embarassing skin problem on my rear end. I tried everything, washing regularly with different methods, new clothes, creams and vitamins so many things people said to try. I had tried to lay in the sun before a few times but I got no change. Every few days the red bumps were back. They weren't pimples but they looked like them sort of. Most people said it was from sweating and bacteria. But no matter what I tried my condition had gotten from bad to worse and I turned to research again and the internet led me to sperti lamps. So I decided to try the sun lamp, easy to use in the privacy of my home. I only used it one time and it almost instantly rid me of my problem. I didn't follow the directions which I should have because I definitely had extreme pale skin or some kind of skin condition. But that lamp healed it in just one use. I set the timer for 8 minutes and I stood a little closer to the lamp that I was supposed to and I did over do it, so be cautious if your getting a sperti lamp and use patience because it can really tan well depending on your distance and skin type. Within about 2 hours all of the red bumps on my rear were gone. At the time there were about 18 of them some as big as a quarter on my rear and sides. I tanned my hide pretty good in the process. It was quite red and sore so be careful if you have sensitive skin like me. Within 3 days the skin peeled away and the bumps are gone. It's been 2 weeks and no bumps. It really feels amazing my body feels so much better I feel confident that they won't come back. And I've never been completely rid of them like this before there was always at least 3 or 4 of them around so it's very amazing to see my skin looking so good. Now I am using it to expose my self slowly to the rays at night and I feel really good especially my skin feels tighter and stronger I can definitely tell you that these lamps do work and since it is compact you can use it to target areas of your body instead of blasting yourself with too many rays. The light it casts is not very bright at least not nearly as bright as I expected, but the rays it casts are powerful and I totally agree that this is a powerful medical tool when used properly. But for my case it gave me the dose of uv light that I had always needed and didn't realize it. And I wrote this as a thank you to the makers because the suntan lamp I got helped me to heal my skin condition. In all honesty for my case, if I had known that UV light would of cured me like that, I would of just layed in the sun naked more. But I am so glad I got my lamp because now I can apply the UV lamp even when the sun goes down. And it's way better in many aspects because I control the environment by altering the distance and position however I want.
