the book work checks are annoying and everything about this website is depressing. i cry every time i see an incomplete task on sparx. teachers, steer clear.

why like bro why give me a page of written homework i rather that the nerds even hate this. What is this thing gonna do for me get me into oxford. Its so depressing that if i didn’t do it i would get a good grade in my gcse but this thing makes my hate for maths go on extreme levels i’ll probably fail my gcse. Overall whoever created sparxs maths pls just pls delete it for gods sake people aren’t well because of this thing please

I had a happy life and then one day it all changed when this somehow legal torture device entered my life 😭😭😭

i tried to do my sparx but every 2 questions i get bookwork checked and ts pmo!! i get touched by my teacher every time i get it wrong. lately my penar is getting turned inside out because of it and he has started coming in the front. please fix this!!!

I was a happy man, 42 years of age, a well paying job, kids, a wife and a massive monster if ykyk. but ever since sparx maths came into my life its shrunk to a mere 0.56 inches, my boss fired me, my wife left and she took the kids, the worst part is that I cant even defend myself because im too busy doing my 1 hour manditory sparx maths!

I went into full detail explaining this website but it got censored but advice to all teachers if you use this app and see students getting 100 percent it’s not the app it’s that they have to get every single question right. STAY AWAY

Absolute bs I was happily enjoying my life and then this crap came along I could spend days explaining how bs sparx is but it would be a waste of time ADVICE TO ANY TEACHERS do not use this lying brainwashing homework app

Insufferable. The website is incredibly slowly and badly paced (in terms of actually advancing through unnecessarily long tasks), and there is no way to change that. Lets take the Times Tables task, which appears in the end of all homeworks, and is mandatory. It has several minigames, which are intended to be fun (but are not). When you actually have to do the mathematical work, the Rapid Fire rounds are timed, and there is no way to change that. Annoying, could make some students anxious. However, it is not as bad as "Talk and Learn", which can be played both as a separate exercise, or a mandatory part of the Times Tables games. It makes you either listen to a TTS voice, speed of which you cannot change, or a *slowly* appearing text with an answer. But that is not it. After you press continue, you must wait SEVERAL SECONDS, with a prompt to "repeat the answer in your head". NOBODY needs this countdown, aside for 1.5 people that do. All it takes is for developers to make things CUSTOMIZABLE. Isn't the point of the website to be a PERSONALIZED learning experience? As to main tasks: they could be, and were worse. Bookwork checks are not mandatory anymore, questions can sometimes be ever so slightly confusing, help videos are either hit or miss (most of the time their thumbnail is more helpful than the video itself), and people voicing them sound like they are held under a gunpoint. Overall, what can be improved? Make pace of the website customizable, make Times Tables optional. You may also give an option to disable bookwork checks altogether.
