This is honestly the worst thing I have ever experienced.sparx is living hell. This Sparx maths and Sparx science gave me depression and it gave lots of others anxiety and depression too. I can't believe this is a thing.every time I have to do homework I want to chuck my computer out of the window never use this.it's Torture. Anyone who gets this please beware because this will give you trauma and depression.

I have just started using sparx science and i regret it so much it is the worst app i have ever used and it made me depressed. SPARX FIX YOUR APP

Insufferable. The website is incredibly slowly and badly paced (in terms of actually advancing through unnecessarily long tasks), and there is no way to change that. Lets take the Times Tables task, which appears in the end of all homeworks, and is mandatory. It has several minigames, which are intended to be fun (but are not). When you actually have to do the mathematical work, the Rapid Fire rounds are timed, and there is no way to change that. Annoying, could make some students anxious. However, it is not as bad as "Talk and Learn", which can be played both as a separate exercise, or a mandatory part of the Times Tables games. It makes you either listen to a TTS voice, speed of which you cannot change, or a *slowly* appearing text with an answer. But that is not it. After you press continue, you must wait SEVERAL SECONDS, with a prompt to "repeat the answer in your head". NOBODY needs this countdown, aside for 1.5 people that do. All it takes is for developers to make things CUSTOMIZABLE. Isn't the point of the website to be a PERSONALIZED learning experience? As to main tasks: they could be, and were worse. Bookwork checks are not mandatory anymore, questions can sometimes be ever so slightly confusing, help videos are either hit or miss (most of the time their thumbnail is more helpful than the video itself), and people voicing them sound like they are held under a gunpoint. Overall, what can be improved? Make pace of the website customizable, make Times Tables optional. You may also give an option to disable bookwork checks altogether.

such a trash thing, never to use again, wouldn't recomend as you ruined science for me, and i love science! if you ever think of using this app, think twice if you don't want ptsd and trauma, also ps: don't even try finnish your homework on this, you'll end up with you screaming at your computer and it being throw out the window.... for me that would be again....

sparx maths was the devil incarnate. it made every day of my life living hell. so whos idea was it to MAKE A FLIPPING NOTHER ONE. they had to infect another subject. and i like science. whoever made sparx im gonna get you. watch out.

This website was so bad when i showed my mother she threw my laptop out the window on the 10th floor of the flat it smashed and I she had to buy a new one. I then reopened sparx (#BAD IDEA) and screamed so loud I got kicked out of my apartment. I went to go live with my older sis and I asked her so nicely to help me but she shouted at the idea because she has PTSD from back in her day when she had to do sparx. After my stressful and tragic weekend experience I got a Saturday detention for not doing my homework. Thankfully my family were very supportive. :P :3 #NOT GOOD
