SparxreaderReviews of sparxreader.com

Boring, Useless and stressful, this website is the burden of my existence, the progression is horrid, the questions are AI and it is horrible for people with bad memory.

As a student who genuinely loves reading, I find the Sparx Reader system incredibly demotivating. The "reward" system forces me to read books I have zero interest in just to unlock the ones I actually want to read. Even with my preferences set, the suggestions rarely align with my actual tastes. Furthermore, the comprehension checks are far too rigid; missing a single question forces you into a repetitive loop that feels more like a memory test than actual reading engagement. Instead of encouraging a love for books, this app makes reading feel like a high-stakes chore.

THIS STUPID WEBSITE STILL SUCKS TAKE IT DOWN AND JUST FREE US OF THIS USELESS CRAP

Absolutely the WORST reading app especially for children. my children now refuse to read because of the misery faced with sparx reader. Punishment for reading to fast or slow is not right and in actual exams like igcse paper you are provided the text the WHOLE time and retrieve answers instead of having to remember intricate details. Im EXTREMELY sorry to anyone faced with this during there education it sucks any morcel of joy our of reading and sets the influence each book is for study instead of joy. Have a lovely day otherwise!

pointless like please let me browse through a range of books and don't give me the same book 3 thousand times. just let me get back on seneca such a better site than sparx in general

It’s takes 3 to 4 hours to complete and makes my child not want to read at all. The questions aren’t based on the main ideas of the book but random facts that you must remember

Just pure shit. I have lost the love for reading. Whoever thought making a platform like this was a good idea is a melt.

If I click book preferences, and click action, it will give me an adventure book that i already cliked for not for me
