Horrible Leadership
Collaborating with the CEO of this company, Leander Howard II, proved to be an absolute nightmare. As a new mother attempting to reenter the workforce after the pandemic, I decided to invest in the Spark Your Resume service. Regrettably, despite waiting for over 100 days, I never received the finished products I had paid for. To make matters worse, when I requested a full refund, the CEO callously refused and remarked, "I don't care if you leave a bad review, we're going out of business in 2 weeks anyway." This appalling experience epitomizes abysmal customer service, and I strongly discourage others from engaging with this business.

I’m So Disappointed In Your Version of My Resume
Your resume writers only know the business end not the artist end of resume writing. I am a Wardrobe Technician and that term, despite my trying to make them understand, has nothing to do with the fashion world. AND their writing didn’t even make sense half the time. I was expecting to pick up their version of MY resume and be like wow I didn’t even think about writing that, NOT correcting their mistakes.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE-DELIVERED NO RESUME
I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks to receive a resume to review. Today is day 22 of 30 of my contract, and this company has not delivered. Yes, you refunded me 1/2 of my fee, but providing me with nothing for the other 1/2 is robbery. When can I expect an update?

Fraudster Alert
Leander is a fraud. I should have listened to my gut and not do this service with him. Terrible service. Terrible attitude. The reviews are fake as he pays customer (ie gives them an incentive/throw in freebies) to leave good reviews. I should know because he offered it to me. Take your money and business elsewhere - you’d enjoy it a lot better.

Not as expected
Friendly, however, not at all impressed with my resume or cover letter. I expressed my concern, but never got a response. I never got to utilize the coaching sessions, and resume expert (she was most of the time quick to respond) but kept repeating % productivity increase in every single section. Really not worth it. $750 down the drain.

The founder
The founder, Leander is a complete fraud. Don’t believe any of these positive reviews. These good reviews is just the company writing good reviews for themselves. They would not refund my money and cannot be trusted.
