We decided that to put together a trip to see some of the highlights of South America was going to be too time consuming so after a bit of research decided that South America Travel was the specialist to approach. We started by choosing one of their tours (the 26 day deluxe) as a base and when we contacted them we were assigned to Clara Tort which gave us a lot of confidence as she had extensive positive reviews. Clara was first rate in every respect, she put us right on so many things and had great ideas on the best way to customise the trip we had chosen, it took some time and numerous changes to arrive at our final itinerary but nothing was too much trouble. The trip itself went like clockwork, all the drivers and guides were high calibre and the accommodation always good and quite often exceptional. We won't hesitate to use South America Travel (and Clara) for our next trip in a couple of years.

Diego Silva has proved to be the right person to make our reservations. He is flexible, reliable, tries hard to make the client happy, finding good solutions for all problems. He is a good sport when it comes to changes. This is our second experience with SouthAmerica travel, the first one to Colombia in 2014 was excellent.

Not travelled yet - Great assistance and package pulled together and looking forward to the trip. The local knowledge certainly brought a more customised package. Great patient shown by their representative as took some time to finalise, many questions and time spent pondering. Only reason did not get 5 star was that the payment has been a bit messy and created a bit of unnecessary nervousness that flights or something would be missed and need changed. .

Service was fantastic. I was in regular email and phone communication with my representative (including over the week-end). He listened to my goals and designed an itinerary that was perfect. He provided some great suggestions that will make the trip even more memorable. It is truly a custom experience. Ask for Sean - he's fantastic.

Su excelente recomendación nos permitió conocer, además de las ciudades capitales, otros lugares extraordinarios como Puerto Varas (Chile), hacer el cruce andino de fronteras, Bariloche (Argentina) y Colonia de Sacramento (Uruguay). Estamos muy agradecidas y satisfechas.

We were a group of 13 people (3 families) who travel regularly to international destinations. We have always worked with travel agencies who put together our travel plans. With this trip to Patagonia, Charlotte was our travel advisor, and she provided top-notch service at every step, accommodating changes in our itinerary as we requested. She was very knowledgeable about the places, made good suggestions, and put together a great itinerary. In addition, she did a few things that I have rarely seen other travel agents do to the same extent - 1. She summarized our travel, including flights, and gave us an excel spreadsheet, not just the 'canned' itinerary 2. She kept track as we traveled and emailed us regularly to check on the progress. Memorable trip, and I would highly recommend South America Travels to anyone who wishes to travel to this region.
