In short. Booked a course for my wife. In addition to charging for the course, they charged (unauthorized) a membership to soundstrue.
The information about the course was difficult to access, no warnings about the course starting.
After failed attempts to get clear information about the course (which was confusing and unsuccessful), we requested a reimbursement which they did. They have yet to reimburse the unauthorized charge. The communication in general has been a bit of a push and pull, maybe they are going through a rough patch, but the tone of emails should be more apologetic (given the lack of clarity) than dry and with replies addressing our concerns only partially. UPDATE: I have received the reimbursement for the membership I did not authorize.

I would give Sounds True a -10 I it was available. I purchased a video an registerd for the 1-moth free membership ( you can't buy anything without the 1-month free membership that automatically turns into a $19.99 a monthly money mine). I did not montored my checking account and found 11 charges each for $19.99. am not happy

I was a Sounds True customer for years. Bought hundreds of dollars worth of educational materials and meditation materials. They were always a little slow to get back, but followed through. I have recently moved and lost my email address associated with the Sounds True account. They have no alternate means of resetting your password or identifying yourself other than through your original email. I can prove who I am, and have tried contacting Sounds True multiple times, via web and phone, to try to re-access my account. Nothing. Silence. Not even a, "Sorry. Too bad, so sad." Just no response. It's not only a disappointment, it's a loss of hundreds of dollars of investments over the years that I will now have to replicate through other sources. Badly done, Sounds True.

Sounds True are utterly dreadful. I have signed up for numerous Sounds True courses in the past and EVERY SINGLE ONE has been a total con, apart from Eckhart Tolle's "Teacher of Presence" course, which actually was half-decently put together. They say they're offering courses, but none of them are actually courses - they are collections of videos, some dating back to the early 80s, of the person "presenting" the course talking. When I did the Caroline Myss one it was all over the place and made no sense. I got a refund. I keep hoping for the best, but I have got a refund on 8 courses now, except Eckhart's. However, half way through this course they changed the layout, so it was no longer a "course," just a video dump. All the pdf's, pages of text, meditation scripts - all gone. Just a dump of videos that were impossible to navigate. I wish I could email Eckhart directly and get him away from this awful company. Furthermore, after the course ended, random amounts of money started being pulled from my account - monies I did not authorise and have no idea what they were for. Despite paying nearly $400 for the course up front, they now want more money from me in order to finish the course. Eckhart is wonderful. Sounds True are crooks.

I have over the years bought and downloaded several mp3 audio programs and loved what ST had to offer. No more. They have gone over to the tech-feudalism, rentieer class, paradigm, ie. you can only access content you pay for by streaming it from their app. Monthly fee. That means they make you a renter not a buyer. If/when the app dies so does your access to what you think you bought. Same as Google, same as all the other audiobook services. I would buy the CD's instead but ST stopped delivering to Europe. (Last time I tried) I hope authors and teachers stop using this service where they too get locked in to this one platform.

dishonest and manipulative. Doesn't let you just purchase a product without forcing you to accept a "free" one month subsrictiption which will automaticall renew unless you actively cancel. Good luck doing that. What a sad chapter in the co that started in 1995 with high ethics and desire to spread spritual wisdom SHAME ON YOU TAMMY SIMON!!!

Cannot access content I purchased and am getting zero help. Save your money and don’t buy from soundstrue. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

The player on the PC was temperamental and got a list of many things to try to fix it. Surely it is the responsibility of Sounds True to make a robust player. Bought Greater than sum of the parts and later found that on audible it was half the price compared to soundstrue. Also can't listen to the audio book if off line.
