It was CANCELLED LAST MINUTE, because someone decided to book oversold flights on the WORST airline there is in Mexico for the boys, so they didn't make it! Some corporate negligence! I was promised BVB meet and greet and i did not get any BVB meet and greet! They straight up issued refunds and said "see ya!" instead of letting the band come right back on monday after their Mexico city gig. A lot of people came from different states for the show, as organized groups in buses; we spent money on transportation, hotel, übers to get there on time, etc... we took time off work, we showed off to friends and family we were going to meet our favorite band... and it just didn't happen. It's not the boys' fault. It was either OCESA's or the band's management team's (whoever was in charge of securing their flight), for not booking with a decent airline! I got the VIP upgrade as a birthday gift (purchased months in advance, obviosly), and i refused to celebrate it on the exact day because i wanted the event to be my magic (since it was only gonna be 3 days later)... Sound Rink even told us that same morning to show up earlier than they had already told us to, only to make us travel ahead of schedule and cancel last minute when we were already on the way. I got depressed about it and cried for 2 days straight, because the event meant the world to me and i had been waiting for months... i had to unfollow the band on all social media and hide all posts related to them to avoid any visual reminders and be able to get a grip of myself. I'll continue to stream their music, but I'm done with any shows/merch/VIP upgrades, etc. They did say they was gonna make it up somehow next time around, but I am NOT waiting another 3 years for them to come back to my city just so they can give us like a 10 percent discount or whatever... I don't even know if I'll be able to attend by then. I invested time and managed my own logistics THIS TIME around.

I ordered two VIP packages for Ice Nine Kills, but unfortunately I can’t go to the shows because of work. Customer support then told me I wouldn’t get my money back because it isn’t covered by insurance. That’s €400 down the drain. SCAMMERS!!!!

Very disorganized from start to finish. The VIP meet and greet staff arrived late and never coordinated with the venue, so no one there knew what was happening or who we were supposed to wait for. There was no sign or indication at the meet-up area, so it constantly felt like we were in the wrong place. Venue staff couldn’t help because the VIP upgrade was separate from the main ticket, and they wouldn’t let us in. The actual meet and greet was of saying hi to the band with quick photo taking. Some of the merch promised in the VIP package were missing and there was no compensation for not receiving the photos taken by a ‘professional’ photographer. Customer service only replies that they were also still waiting on updates with no real update or 'solution'. Overall, an awful experience and would not purchase again.

This company still hasn’t refunded me for a package following a canceled concert. No replies to emails — this is not serious or professional. Suddenly, a ray of hope: I receive an email from Trustpilot encouraging me to provide my purchase reference, at Soundrink’s request. Of course, I provide it immediately… and then nothing. Absolute silence. At the same time, more than 15 reviews — all positive — are posted within a few days, whereas over the past 3 years the page averaged about one review every two months, always very negative. These scammers, on top of being dishonest with their customers, also manipulate reviews. ZERO ZERO ZERO

I am writing this review 3 years after the incident because I was reviewing old transactions. I purchased 2 VIP package tickets to see Dying Fetus in NYC on 06/03/2022. I arrived at the venue for my "will call tickets" and the workers said we were "not on the list" and that they had zero record of any tickets at all. I showed them the email confirmation and still the venue said that they had zero records. I sent customer service an email outside the venue at 8:28PM, they responded at 10:08PM "why was the venue not letting you get your tickets?". At 11:54PM I emailed back and said "They [the venue] told me they have no record of my tickets. They said they have never heard of Sound Rink and that they needed a ticket barcode to scan. I showed them the email confirmation from when I purchased the ticket, to which they didn't accept. My name is not on the will call/VIP list. I need a refund for this". On 06/04/2022 they responded, "That is not true, you are on the list I sent to them. I will contact them now. Did you have to purchase tickets at the door? They will be the ones who will need to refund you since they were paid for your tickets and were on the list we sent them". On 06/04/2022 6:12PM I responded, "I purchased tickets from you (Sound Rink) and will receive a refund from you. Grammercy theater (venue) has nothing to do with this. I purchased my tickets from you guys and therefore you guys are going to refund me. Grammercy has no record of my tickets. cont: "According to the Better Business Bureau, you have a rating of 1.11/5. As far as I'm concerned I am being scammed. Your Facebook comments have several complaints of people not getting their tickets or money back. I drove 2 hours to NYC to be told they have never heard of Sound Rink. My entire day was wasted because I chose to purchase tickets from you. I expect a refund". Their grand respond on 06/04/22 6:48PM, "Grammercy Theater is 100% at fault for this, not us. We have a contract in place where we can sell tickets with VIP packages and presale tickets. They supply us the tickets and they are paid for them. We paid them to have these tickets available for VIP and presale customers at will call. They told you they did not have tickets or an order from you. We cannot pay them for these tickets and then have them tell you there's no purchase and then we refund you when we did everything we were supposed to. They are responsible for this error, not us. We are not financially liable for paying them and then refunding customers for their mishaps. I've attached an image of the spreadsheet of buyers where you can clearly see you are listed, I have blurred one of the other customers that purchased for their privacy. We actually sent them the VIP buyer list TWICE. Once a week or so ago and then again the day before the show because their internal team mishandled things. Obviously if they refund us the cost of the tickets, we will be the ones to initiate a refund but they are completely responsible for this mishap and I do apologize. You are not being scammed. A band would not send their fans to a scam. What is a scam is the BBB. They are not an official agency in any way or form. They are a business that exists to charge businesses fees to put their logo on their site. And a handful of negative reviews, which the angriest people for things that may be a mishap or a miscommunication for a business that has existed for over a decade and had over a million transactions is far from an accurate representation. Again, I'm sorry that this happened, we never like to hear about this. Speaking with the band's team, the NY show was chaotic because of the venue staff and a bunch of things went wrong on their end yesterday. I hear you and I understand your upset and anger regarding the situation but the venue is the one who that should be directed to. I will contact them now and let you know when I hear back from them. The box office manager of Gramercy said they didn't report of any issues the day of with people picking up tickets and that other customers picked up their tickets. Do you remember who you had spoke to? And if you're okay with me putting you in touch with them, they said they would speak with you regarding the matter." My character limit is up but no one ever called me and I got a refund from my credit card company of $190 after they continued to lie and gaslight me. Date of experience was 06/03/2022 Obviously don't buy anything from them.

Soundtink does not provide details for their activities till 48 hours before the show. Nowhere in the site does it mention the meet and greet check in time is FOUR hours before show time meaning you need to miss most of your work day to check in. They will not refund and are completely unhelpful. Don’t use this service

They have scammed me out of VIP experience, show got cancelled and new show was hosted. Was unable to make new show as I was already scheduled for work and they refused to produce a refund for the side stage viewing experience. They stated a refund would be made to those who could not attend new date. They also did not include all the items in that the VIP experience was to include.

This is the 5th time I’ve bought tickets and or packages through sound rink. They suck. Either my stuff isn’t ready at the concert when I come and then I have to dig through my email while in line waiting to provide documentation that I bought stuff and then fight with the venue that I have what I actually bought. One time out of the five it went smoothly. I’m definitely not the only one either because there were a few of us at the last concert all on the side digging through old emails. Met some nice people though through our struggles and annoyances with sound rink though.
