Soundproof CowReviews of soundproofcow.com

Very easy to place my order. Payment went through quickly. My order arrived quickly, within a week or so. I'm not familiar with how to attach these panels to walls, so i didn't realize I had to purchase adhesive glue and i couldn't find any sort of clips at my local store. If i purchase again, I'll include the z clip option with my order.

Sound Proof Cow was fast and efficient. Their product was very good and performed as was described. Very positive.

Service was great. Item arrived when mentioned. I am trying to dampen the noise from a circulation pump. So this item wrapped around the pump just fine. Unfortunately, it did not quiet the noisy pump as much as I would have liked. Looks like I will be adding more sound proofing to the walls if possible due to all the piping.

I ordered a really big piece of Mass Loaded Vinyl from soundproofcow.com. I got an email stating they were out of stock on it, and it would be a month or so before it came in. I was offered several 4x8' sheets that actually came out to more square footage for the same price, and that arrived quickly. Overall, very happy. Would've been nice to know it was backordered before I ordered it.

Ok Experience over all

I installed the QUIET DOOR™ ADJUSTABLE PERIMETER SEAL and the QUIET DOOR™ AUTOMATIC DOOR SWEEP. The product works well, but the installation instructions for the door sweep are unacceptably poor. A YouTube video is needed for this. I'm very handy and pity those trying to install this that aren't. I'm still messing with the settings so I don't need to slam the door shut. But customer service seems good, so I'll ask for an exchange is the door sweep seems defective. I performed some tests using a sound level meter and some "pink noise" from the surround sound system in the next room. The solid core door has been "treated" with green glue and a 1/4" sheet of MDF. Here are the results: dB level by speaker = 85 dB dB inside room with door open = 70 dB dB inside room with door closed and cheap weather striping= 54 dB dB inside room with door closed and no seal = 56 dB dB inside room with door closed and SoundProofCow seal = 48dB

Ordering was easy. Package came in about a week which is good. However, shipping seemed very expensive for the size and lightweight item shipped. Shipping was more than twice what I would expect for this. Overall, good quality.

Purchased the Quiet Wrap to wrap a noisy drain pipe. Working with the company was great. They got me the material right away. The pipe wrap did improve the noise situation. My only complaint is that the adhesive that they use really sticks to the pipe. I need to do a repair after I wrapped it but when I went to pull off the wrap the outer coating came off and left the adhesive and foam on the pipe. I ended up using mastic/adhesive cleaner, steel wool, a scraper and acetone to clean up the left on foam/adhesive. It took several hours to clean a 3 ft section. It would be better if they used an adhesive that would easily come off of the pipe once attached. Since you wrap the pipe in a way where each row overlaps there really isn't a reason, I can think of, that you need such a sticky adhesive. I am thinking about bicycle handle bar tape here which has a little adhesive so that it stays on the bars but comes off easily.
