Just installed the MD underlayment on a 2nd floor unit using 12mm laminate as the main floor on top. Have to say it does make a difference in reducing the impact noises heard beneath but it's definitely not soundproof. With that said the packages arrived early and intact. Would purchase again but would go with the HD next time.

After some advice and reviews for products, I purchased a few rolls of the pipe wrap to help dampen/eliminate the sound of a radon removal pipe. The pipe is pvc with a fan that pulls air running up from the foundation to the roof. It's not loud just sort of annoying. The wrap did not help. Sort of an expensive experiment. I called the company to give a review and they were glad to get it and suggested I get a different product and could give me a discount if I wanted something else. The person I talked to was very nice so I gave three stars even though the product would get 0 for what I needed it for. I would not buy the pipe wrap if using on a radon mitigation system.

I installed the Quiet Batt above my drop ceiling. I only noticed some sound reduction, but nothing that made the material seem 'high-performance'. I still hear the same sounds upstairs, now it sounds a bit muffled. I may need to add a second layer.

The product is great for sound absorption, but it doesn't look much like the photo. We planned on putting it up on our office walls, above cubicles, to reduce noise. The product is indeed made of recycled cotton fibers. as stated, but it contains bits of florescent and brightly colored threads, making it look like a shipping blanket. The photo on the online web shows a mottled gray. The product is definitely not acceptable for an office wall. The company was very responsive and we are working on a new solution.

I was very impressed with Soudproof Cow's customer service. They helped me make my decision quickly and offered acoustic calculations to put my mind at ease before order placement. They were patient and helped coordinate up to when the panels were shipped out. Shipping and delivery was quite chaotic and I wish this company would use a higher end delivery service. I ordered white panels which scuff easily. I paid for the crate to be offloaded truck and dropped next to site which would have allowed my team to white glove unpack items slowly and carefully. Unfortunately, there was a delivery snafu and the driver could not take the crate off the truck so my team had to quickly offload unwrapped panels from truck into the space in the rain. In the end, because I had a fast thinking site team to solve the shipping dilema, everything worked out okay and the panels got into the space unharmed. They were installed the next day and look great. Overall I would say this company has great potential if they work to better their packaging and delivery services.

shipping and website interaction excellent! did email them asking for a credit card receipt on 9/27, now 9/29 and haven't heard anything back yet, so not sure how fast or good they are with customer service

I ordered 12 soundproofing panels. I gave height x width dimensions. On 3 of the panels, the orientation was not followed, for example... a 3' x 6' panel would mean that it hangs with the 3' dimension as the height and the 6' dimension as the width and the orientation of the hangers should be such that it could hang that way... I got three that were reversed.... so I had to have them modified by the installer... I was quite explicit about this issue when I ordered it, because I knew a 3'x6' was different than a 6'x3'..... Also, the material that wrapped the panels as it was folded there is a raw edge that is on a corner. The edge was not glued down so that there is a visible line there because the panel material is black....and the wrapped cloth is cream.... so a huge contrast in colors; therefore the seam is very noticeable. I have tried to message the material and also orient the panel such that the seam is away from the occupants normal activities areas and hidden if possible... but some of the panels can only be orientated one way and it does hide it in those situations. Also, there are bubbles and lines in the wrapped materials. I can see that some of these will work themselves out,,, settle or press out over time,,,, but a few have me a little worried. I am installing these panels while the client is out of the office, so I am hoping that when they come in and the job is complete... they won't be as picky as they could be if they were here during installation and had time to nit-pick and observe step by step before I can message the issues. More care in the ordering and fabrication of your product is necessary.... maybe more experience staff that has actually installed them rather than college grads or ??? that have no field experience... just advice....
