Good day Ruhi, We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy with your purchase, you gave the product a 2 star review, and you were also not happy regarding the cost to ship. We are a bit confused as to why you are not happy with the roll length, as this is discussed in numerous locations on our website. Think of the wind blowing on a window that is not sealed properly, a simple touch will confirm the air is passing through those non-sealed areas, sound is transferred in a similar manner. I wish there was a very inexpensive option that would fix all needs, unfortunately, that does not exist. In regards to your being upset with the cost of shipping, the amount that UPS Ground charged is beyond our control. Over the last year and a half the cost of mailing / shipping has seen costs double, some have tripled, this is globally. If we had a solution to help ease the increase we absolutely would have it implemented, unfortunately, we believe this trend will continue as we see material shortages, employee shortages, etc. This is affecting the world, not just our company. Good day Ryan, We thank you for providing feedback and we are very sorry to see this low score. We continually monitor online sales to ensure that the UPS shipping calculations are correct, unfortunately, Quiet Batt Cotton insulation does not weigh a lot, it is the size of the boxes that cause the high shipping pricing. We have worked closely with the third party shipping companies that we use to try and keep the rates as reasonable as possible, due to the high volume that we ship, we are able to pass along a significant discount to our customers. It looks like when your order was placed on 3/22/2021 that the shipping charged was rather high and subsequently, incorrect, it did not have the discount applied. Our team saw that and it looks like your purchasing credit card was credited $171.91 on 3/23/2021, which would have been the difference from the original amount charged and the actual shipping charged by UPS for your order, changing the shipping from $413.84 to $241.93. I do apologize that you were originally charged the incorrect higher amount, but am very happy to see that our team saw the order and in less than 24 business hours corrected it and had your refund processed. Quiet wrap is one of our top sellers, it is very rare that we hear someone is not happy with it's performance. Good day Mattie H., I am very sorry to hear that you had issues with your order. We have tried many different ways to have itemized packing slips for the kits we sell and have found that the best way was to simply list it as a "kit". Our team double and triple counts the contents of each portion of the kit. We rarely have issues with missing pieces, unless there is damage that occurs to the box in transit, however, we are human and we do not say that something can "never" happen. That is why we try to go above and beyond for our customers when there is a problem. Good day Paul, We thank you for taking the time to complete this review. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the shipping options presented to you upon check out. Shipping charges are very frustrating to our team as well and unfortunately we have no control over what third party companies such as UPS charge for said services. I believe, based off the information in your review that you purchased our quiet wrap product, that is a foam product which as you mentioned does not weigh much at all, the shipping cost of this material is based off of the shipping containers dimensions. We have though about offering free shipping, however since companies add the shipping to the product cost on the back end, we feel that is better to be transparent and keep the costs down for the product itself, allowing the customer the see all true costs. Good day Raquelle, We truly apologize that your one sheet of RoadBlockR was damaged in transit, we unfortunately have no control over how UPS handles our packages, nor can we control what UPS charges to ship a 9 lb, 24" x 48" sheet of material. We do offer claims assistance for our customers for when instances like this do happen. Unfortunately to much time has passed and since you did not contact us, a claim through UPS would not be an option. Good day Cynthia, I apologize that you were not happy with your experience. There seems to be some confusion, we are located in Chambersburg , PA; we are not located in Chicago. It also appears as if you ordered 3 individual wraps as opposed to ordering one case of three, which all contributed to the higher than normal shipping rates, due to the single rolls being calculated individually. Unfortunately, we cannot control what UPS charges for shipping rates. Amazon does have the advantage of being able to charge membership fees to help keep shipping costs down, we do not have that luxury. In the future please feel free to call 1.800.5582058, one of our sales team members can try other shipping methods to help reduce costs, as indicated on our website.
