My order came quickly and was accurate. Quiet Batt was easy to stuff between the joists in my basement ceiling and I do not expect any mess from it. It's not too hard to trim with heavy household scissors. I do wish that shipping didn't double the cost, but the product is bulky.

Good day Kenneth, Thank you very much for the amazing rating and feedback! We appreciate it. Quiet Batt is some pretty amazing eco friendly insulation. We truly understand your frustration regarding the cost of shipping, unfortunately Quiet Batt is bulky, which immediately kicks into the over sized package category. We added the Fed Ex option to help and allow our customer to pick the lower price shipping option. We do recommend calling in for any product that we offer, our sales team can reach out to other shippers than UPS and Fed Ex to see if we can negotiate a lower rate for you. Please do not hesitate to do this, 1.800.558.2058. We thank you for supporting a small business. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season, be safe, be well. The Soundproof Cow Team

After a few failed attempts on our own to reduce noisy drain pipes in our apartment building, I found Soundproofcow online and they put me on the right path, saving us so much time. We tried replacing the DWV pipes with cast iron to no avail. Then foam. No improvement. Then lining with MLV (mass loaded vinyl). No improvement...the noise transferred to the ceiling. So went back online to research and found Soundproofcow. I read "Soundproof 101" on their website...essential reading to understand how sound travels. They also had material specific to drain pipe noise...very helpful. I then called. Even though they knew I wouldn't be purchasing anything (I had already purchased similar materials), they were so generous with their time on the phone. Ryan helped me figure out what we were doing wrong with those materials. He asked me to email him pictures, he replied to my email right away, and then we talked more details over the phone. I wish I'd found them much earlier; it would have saved us so much work. Ryan identified issues that can contribute to the noise (pipes in contact with wood framing, for example), but mainly explained that how you install the materials is everything! Hint: Absolutely NO gaps anywhere in the MLD wrapping of the pipe itself or the lining of the bay in the wall...cover every molecule of surface and tape the seams!

Good day Lorna M., Thank you so much for the amazing review and feedback, we truly appreciate it! We are thrilled to hear that we were able to assist, educate and aid in finding your resolution. Soundproofing / Sound Absorption can be very complicated, even overwhelming and unfortunately there is no "magic" fix for all issues. We try to ensure the best fit for each project and are completely transparent, telling you not to waste money on things that will not work. We are also very honest about expected outcomes. Ryan is wonderful, knowledgeable and discusses our materials in a way that is easily understood. We thank you again and hope you have continued peace, please keep us in mind for future projects! Be safe, be well. The Soundproof Cow team
