I honestly didn't know what to expect, as I had never gone to school for music or been taught 1-on-1. I figured this would be better than the submissions and just getting back a 'no' or 'we went with someone else'. I just so happened to find out Soundfly existed while searching online for a tutor. Best decision I ever made, hands down. When they say the experience is 'tailor-made' for you, the really mean it. My mentor was able to meet me right where I was and help me strengthen the areas that needed the most work. Everything I learned with him was something I was able to put into immediate use in my own compositions. I would recommend this to anyone regardless of where they are in their musical journey..

My journey with Soundfly started around two years ago when I wanted to take mixing and production into my own hands. After having taken a number of successful mentorship courses, I am now at a point where I am able to mix and produce my own music. That would not have been possible without the well designed courses and the talented and caring mentors. Not to forget the slack community where the mentors and the students are there for each other to uplift, support, give constructive feedback and inspire. Even their newsletter is so informational and moving that it keeps fueling the passion in learning and growing. I always have the feeling that the Soundfly crew cares. They care about the quality of what they offer, they care about their students and they care about art. It’s the most loving, inspiring and effective online music learning platform I have encountered. I HIGHLY recommend any aspiring musician to try Soundfly!

Soundfly is a great way to accelerate your learning journey. They really have great comprehensive courses and an excellent One on One mentorship program where you get direct input from an experienced mentor who helps you accomplish your goals. It's best to have one or two well defined goals vs trying to learn a whole bunch in a month. You get at least 4 weekly sessions - these fly by if you are not focused. Best to go deep than wide. My mentor was awesome Joseph - but I had too many goals I think. I learned alot, but will adjust my goals next time. Why not 5 stars? I would suggest that the goal outlines and clear success metrics should be discussed even more before starting... my fault, but Soundfly could integrate this into the onboarding process. I'm probably a little unfair to them as every student is different. But 4 1 hour sessions can only do so much - better to get really focused. Otherwise they are real, honest, professional and nice people... and a great slack community! Honestly try it - great content, community, value for money. It's better than just some monthly video course... its direct, live and specific to your needs, and your learning stage. You will love the progress you make with Soundfly.

Soundfly has been a lifesaver throughout the time of the pandemic. I can’t thank Jeremy Young enough for the courage and entrepreneurship to keep this amazing resource going for musicians out there. We really need the inspiration. Many of us are unemployed and pretty hopeless right now. Sometimes all it takes is reading one of Soundfly's amazing articles to get the motivation and the tools we need to keep making music. In my case, I even received a personal call from Jeremy orienting me on my search for advice on building a music career and producing my own work. He motivated me to continue on my path and connected me to an incredible mentor, Ian Prince, who gave me precious advice on producing my own songs. Jeremy has continued to send me emails asking about my progress and keeping me accountable about my goals, which I really appreciate. I will continue coming back to Soundfly any time I need resources or encouragement. I highly recommend it to all musicians and music fans out there!

The mentor was very receptive to my skill level, skill set, and goals, and provided invaluable advice that I will continue to use. Their online courses are quite informative as well.

I joined for 2 months specifically to do their Intro to Logic Pro X course and found it well worth my time and money. I'd been using Logic for 6 months prior but the course really leveled up my skills. Martin the teacher did a great job with the material without it ever feeling spoon-fed - in fact just watching him move his way around Logic taught me a ton in and of itself. Now, I've dropped my membership while I do a pair of courses elsewhere - but I'll be back when I'm done with those as I'm excited by their courses on production, use of chords and beat making.

Soundfly are really marvellous at teaching music theretical and practical stuff. It is good to watch some youtube videos to master music productions but it is much more prolific to be guided by professionals who know what to do.

Excellent!! I was referred to my mentor Joseph by Jeremy and both those communications and introductions went smoothly. I elevated my skills as a music producer and songwriter to a noticeable degree in only 4 weeks. If you are looking for a mentor, or looking to develop your skills soundfly is the place! I learned so much, and the process of creating a track was waaay demystified. And Not to mention- fun!
