DNB AcademyReviews of dnbacademy.com

Absolutely a wealth of knowledge from the team at DnB Academy, they’ve made me feel more confident in my production skills and guided me in the right direction to find my sound and learn the basics. The team really are pushing to help artists, as artists themselves and giving us the education that we all wish existed sooner! Hats off to them for creating an absolutely amazing educational platform and community

DNB Academy is the best investment I’ve made in myself as an aspiring producer. Starting with almost no experience, I managed to finish a great-sounding track in just a couple of months, thanks to my mentor and the amazing community. You’ll connect with DnB producers from all over the world, learn valuable tips and tricks through the masterclasses, and get practical advice on approaching labels and managers. I couldn’t recommend it more!

I started as one of the OG’s in 2020, which kicked me off with some major improvements. I went on my own journey away from DNB/ bass music for 5 years. Then revisited DNBA about 10 months ago, due to starting a fresh alias - AND WOW, it’s come so far! It’s developed into a big team, with many facets to help mentee’s. We have a great community here, mentors are absolutely wicked, all the students are developing together, creating friendships and improving as a unit - May I say, there’s some serious talent in here. Andre has turned DNBA into something special. Since coming back, my productions feel much better and pushed into a place that I’m proud of. As always, there’s room for development/improvement and this is the place to do it.

Best thing i have done is Join the DNB academy, Its been amazing so far, my production has come on loads, wish i Joined sooner

So glad I took the leap when I did. A year and a half in the tutors have helped take me from beginner to a level where I getting really happy with what I’m making. The tutors, along with a really warm and encouraging community keep inspiring you to keep plugging away.

I’ve been producing for years, but Drum & Bass was always a challenge. Even my first one on one session with Jon Tho was a game changer, and from that point forward I knew I had found the right mentorship. I walked away understanding a lot of crucial elements in designing drums as well as really understanding sound design, and that was Day 1. The coursework is also great for building a true foundation and the group sessions are always amazing for knowledge. My production as a whole has leveled up so much more substantially than I thought would even be possible when I enrolled. Every feedback session, every lesson, and every interaction with other students has been valuable. This is still the beginning of a new project for me, but I’m carving out my sonic identity more and more every day and finishing songs I’m excited for regularly. Cannot recommend DNB Academy more to anyone that’s on the fence about the decision. If you put in the work, you will get the results and you will have an entire team to back you and find your blind spots along the way.

## My Experience With Drum & Bass Academy So Far So far, my experience with Drum & Bass Academy has been great. I've gotten access to a ton of sounds and production videos, along with one-on-one mentorship that's helped me improve my production and understand what actually goes into creating professional, club-ready drum & bass. One of the biggest benefits has been the community. I've met a lot of like-minded producers who are either working toward the same goals as me or simply love creating music. Through the Academy, I've been able to build a solid feedback loop where I'm constantly getting feedback on my tracks, learning, making adjustments, and improving. I've already started seeing some real-world results too. A small independent record label reached out to me completely out of the blue and asked me to send them demos. That was a pretty cool sign that what I've been working on is starting to translate outside of the Academy. I ultimately decided to join the lifetime program, and at this point I feel like I understand what it takes to create professional-sounding, club-ready tracks. There's obviously always more to learn and improve, but I now have the tools, workflow, community, and feedback around me to keep moving forward. Overall, Drum & Bass Academy has been a really positive investment in my production and development as an artist. HM_DNB

I am currently completing a music production course with DNB Academy, and I can't speak highly enough of the experience so far. Having produced music many years ago as a self-taught producer, I often found myself starting tracks but struggling to finish them I also wanted to deepen my knowledge of Logic Pro, particularly in areas where it was difficult to find clear and relevant tutorials online. My mentor, Noopy, has been fantastic throughout the course. He is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and has a real talent for explaining complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand. The one-on-one sessions are tailored to my individual goals and skill level, which has helped me make significant progress and build confidence in my production abilities. There are heaps of benefits from this course, students receive ongoing access to session recordings, allowing me to revisit lessons whenever I need a refresher. In addition, the group sessions and extensive library of online videos provide even more opportunities to learn and develop. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their music production skills. Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to production after a break, or already at an intermediate level, the course is tailored to meet your needs. The personalised mentoring, supportive learning environment, and wealth of resources make it an excellent investment in your musical journey. I have nothing but positive feedback for DNB Academy and Noopy, and I'm excited to continue developing my skills through the DNB academy.
