SoundCloud’s distribution service is in an absolutely terrible state. Getting songs approved feels completely random, and there is zero clarity about what documents are actually required. Tracks get rejected repeatedly without proper explanations, while support tickets are answered weeks later with “we can’t do anything anymore.” The whole process feels unprofessional and unreliable. Sometimes releases go through with certain documents, sometimes they don’t — with no consistency whatsoever. As an artist, you simply can’t trust the platform to handle releases properly. I would not recommend SoundCloud distribution to anyone right now.

SoundCloud has unfortunately become a constant source of frustration for musicians. I keep dealing with false accusations about using third-party samples in completely original tracks, and proving the obvious can take weeks or even months. Then there’s the endless nonsense around cover artwork, with constant nitpicking about what should and shouldn’t be allowed, often with vague or inconsistent rules. But the worst part is the customer support — absolutely terrible response times, sometimes taking months just to get any reply, if one comes at all. For a platform that claims to support artists, this level of moderation and customer service is completely unacceptable.

The platform has become terrible, they also scam their artists. Artists should unite and leave this platform, i just pulled all my tracks & canceled my account after 15 years. ill never come back here.

Another wood to the fire. Soundcloud over the years become worst, the new login system two autentication factor doesn't help and doesnt work fast, as matter fact doesnt work, and I have to decline my debit card to take down the subscription, the support is negligence, doesnt exist, the new design is ugly with that colour black and white, the clássic is missing. They finish with the free share groups community, now he have to pay if we want to promote our músic,somtimes they block the posts and some copy infrigment is not rigth with the músic we publish, for djs is not the best choice for that reason, what more I have to say? They don't give a dawm!.. Oh, almost forget they erase your músic if you not continue subscription and if you want listen the extended músic other's without login you can't! In conclution the worst and famous platform músic of our days!

Artist Pro Systemfehler: 98 % Play-Einbruch nach Bot-Angriff – SoundCloud ignoriert 6 Mails meines Support-Tickets SC 4313580 Letzte Frist gesetzt, dann Charge Back per 11.04.2026. Bechreibung des Problems: • Algorithmische Bestrafung durch Bots: Am 27. März wurde mein Profil von über 12 Bot-Accounts ins Visier genommen (z. B. „COOL VIBE“, „MUSIC POWER“ und ein Ryan Caraveo-Imitator). Mein organisches Wachstum vom Januar (über 700 Plays) wurde im März durch einen algorithmischen Kollaps von -98 % erstickt. • Stagnation trotz Verdoppelung des Inhalts: Im Januar erreichte 1 von 3 Tracks 736 Plays. Vor einer Woche habe ich 3 zusätzliche neue Tracks hochgeladen (insgesamt 6). Trotz eines aktiven „Artist Pro Push“ sind meine Statistiken bei exakt 736 Plays eingefroren. Der Algorithmus interpretiert die Bot-Aktivität fälschlicherweise als mangelndes Interesse und tötet meine Reichweite. • Der „Blockierte-bleiben-Follower“-Bug: Ein kritischer Bug verhindert die Bereinigung der Analytics: Blockierte Bots bleiben in der Follower-Liste und verzerren permanent die Engagement-Raten. Dies verstößt gegen das Versprechen „präziser Metriken“ (Vertrag §3.1). Support-Status: Ich habe 6 detaillierte E-Mails (Ticket offen seit dem 30. März) mit Screenshots von Bot-Skripten und Analytics-Beweisen gesendet. Obwohl ich ein zahlender Abonnent bin, habe ich seit über 5 - 6 Tagen keine menschliche Antwort erhalten. Forderung: Ich fordere die Löschung aller über 12 identifizierten Bot-Accounts und eine manuelle Neuanalyse meiner Reichweite. Meine Frist ist der 10.April, 24:00 Uhr.
