Als Artist bekommt man von Soundcloud nicht wirklich viel Unterstützung. Die Monetarisierung dauert bei mir jetzt schon 1 Woche! 1 Woche! Man kann es natürlich auch peinlich gestalten und weiterhin diesen lethargischen Modus nach außen hin projizieren.😉 Laut SC bekommen Next Pro Mitglieder sofortige Hilfe vom Support. Auch hier fehl am Platz. Der Support meldet sich auf gut Glück auch in etwa 5-10 Tagen. Natürlich werden die viel zu tun haben aber wenn ich meinem Verantwortungen gegenüber zahlender Kundschaft nicht nachkommen kann muss ich entweder nachbesetzen oder zurückschrauben. Letzte Alternative natürlich der Artist und Hörer wechselt zur Konkurrenz. Wer weiß was da noch kommen mag. 🙈

I have two SoundCloud pages. One is a host for all my music, and it basically—very basically—does what I want it to. It sits there on an attractive page for which I picked out the artwork and offers people the opportunity to play my songs. If I want to promote it, I have to do all the work myself. SoundCloud offers little or no help there. But I can live with that. The second page is for official releases from my band and I use it solely for distribution and reposting to platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, etc. I released three albums this way and the initial releases went fine. The problem is SoundCloud is supposed to deal with replacement of tracks, artwork changes, etc., to all repost platforms. And most of the time they just, well, . . . DON'T. I remastered and reedited several songs which I wanted to replace on Spotify and the others. Sometimes SoundCloud confirms that they received your request (with ticket numbers) and then they DON'T FOLLOW UP. Sometimes they confirm that they’ve completed your request and just DON'T FULFILL YOUR REQUEST. Sometimes they DON'T confirm receiving your request and DON'T DO ANYTHING. Then they ignore follow-up questions about those requests. Here’s the kicker. There’s no customer service rep you can actually talk to. No phone number, no chat option. Only email requests. You can rate your customer service transaction, but If you leave the requisite amount of time they need to fulfill the request, and go back to downrate the transaction, you’ll often get a message that the ticket has been closed. If you let SoundCloud manage you in this way, you’ll spend so much time following up; checking that they did what they said they did; opening new tickets for things that they never acknowledged at all, that you might as well be managing your music yourself. Of course, that leaves you little time to actually make music. Not all of us have personal managers who take care of these things. I have two ratings for SoundCloud: As a hosting platform, THREE STARS, and you can add or subtract stars based on your usefulness to THEM as a venue for THEIR self-promotion. If you want a page that sits there and waits for the people you inform of your music to access, perfect. A home run. As a repost platform, to sell your work: ONE STAR. Apply the same formula for adding and subtracting stars based on your sale-ability. If you’re a struggling artist, you won’t get any help. Just forget it and find a more reputable venue.

Nur Probleme mit dieser Webseite. nichts funktioniert auf anhieb normal oder flüssig, Und das bei einem High-End PC mit 50k leitung... Beim Upload steckt die Webseite ständig fest und beim Anmelden kommt man nur mit mühe an der Capcha Prüfung vorbei, man macht sie richtig aber kann sich nicht einloggen weil dort einmal sagt das es falsch sei nach dem man bereits einen grünen haken bekommen hat. SoundCloud nervt nur noch.

Zum abspeichern eigener Musik gut genug, sonst nichts weiter. Hatte ein Next Pro Abo und alles was Soundcloud interessiert, ist einfach nur dein Geld. Über Amuse kann man seine Songst KOSTENLOS bei allen Streaming-Anbietern hochladen. Soundcloud weist deine Musik zurück, weil angeblich irgendwelche "Errors" vorhanden sein sollen. Habe selbst meine Songs schon ohne Probleme bei dem besagten anderen Anbieter hochgeladen und dort wurde es in den Stores veröffentlicht! Bekannt wird man über Soundcloud auch nicht, außer natürlich ihr zahlt kräftig dafür. Bin da schon seit mehreren Jahren und durch SC selbst habe ich nicht einen Follower erhalten - Habe mir diese selbst irgendwie "beschafft". SC ist nichts weiter als eine Spielerei. Kein Wunder dass die immer wieder kurz vor der Insolvenz stehen.

Went with the pro package and it’s useless, wish I could get a refund

Soundcloud is a site where you can find a lot of cool tracks, but the point I want to make here is that I cannot create an account there. I have tried signing up using many different e-mail addresses I own and every single time the site says the e-mail is incorrect and to try another one. Excuse me? Is it even possible to create an account there or are they discriminating against users from eastern Europe- which I think could be the case as other people somehow managed to create a profile, but I can't? One more thing, a lot of tracks are unavailable to users in my country. For heaven's sake, we live in the 21st century and even today some nations seem to be regarded inferior to other. How can you distribute your music and share it with the rest of the world when you put those unnecessary limits as to who can listen to it?

Tbh this isn’t nice, I’ve seen way better apps and compared to them, this isn’t it. why are comments popping up when I'm listening? so chaotic I almost mistook them for lyrics

i feel the design could be better and also I couldn't find the upload button for the longest. I'm just here for the unreleased tracks. spotify is better
