At first I was happy to get Next Pro with SoundCloud (my artistic name is DominaPetra). However, reasons why I did not pay for another year were the following: 1. It seems that chat bots or some other AI-based algorithm is reviewing pending tracks for distribution, and therefore, some of my tracks were rejected multiple times based on some random nonsense explanation, such as ˝the title is not correct˝. I even sent my ASCAP catalogue via mail (multiple times) to prove that the title is registered and accepted, and that everything is correct regarding the track and copyright...but I never received an answer, or I received an answer much later, several weeks later, when I already distributed my track with another distributor. 2. I applied many times for verification and I was never informed why I did not get the blue badge (although I am ASCAP-registered musician and I already have verified Spotify and Audiomack accounts).

Since they changed Repost Network for Soundcloud for Artists and made Next Pro, the system has gotten undeniably worse. You no longer have a subscription plan for Repost (or SC for Artists) only and are forced to pay for the whole Next Pro thing. Also Soundcloud limiting independent artists upload time to 3 hours isn't something one could expect by a company that claims to be the "home of independent artists" (or at least used to claim). Anyways, the company is not what it once was, they have become greedy and just want money now.

Soundcloud macht für die Next Pro Artists eigentlich zu wenig bis gar nichts... Alleine das Monetarisieren für einen Song benötigt über 2 Wochen! 2 Wochen!!!! Manchmal auch länger. Das ist einfach zu schwach. Die Support Antwort dauert auch gerne mal 6 Monate... Auch als Next Pro User. Naja, wers mag. Ich bin noch dabei werde aber so schnell es geht zu DistroKid wechseln. Werde es auch nicht mehr empfehlen. Schade eigentlich, aber SC ist für meinen Gebrauch als Artist völlig wertlos. Ich frage mich wie es da anderen Künstlern wohl ergehen mag.

Ich hatte ein paar Jahre ein Next Pro Account. Ich kann mich aber einfach nicht mehr dazu aufraffen, vor allem weil es immer teurer wird, ohne wirkliche Vorteile zu bieten. Vor allem zu erwähnen ist: 128kbps Mp3 Qualität. Um das zu verbessern, müsste man nochmal ordentlich extra zahlen. Vergisst man rechtzeitig zu kündigen, wird automatisch mit einem nochmal höheren Betrag verlängert... Ich mochte am Anfang, dass die Seite recht "clean" gestaltet ist. Aber das reicht natürlich nicht mal annähernd. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist genau genommen einfach frech. Hoffe ich finde eine gute Alternative.

It's been made nearly impossible to figure out if you have or havn't cancelled your subscription. And forget everything about getting help from their customer service.

El servicio al cliente de la app es fatal!! Sin importar si pagas por un servicio premium o no... Además de que a veces los errores que dan en las reproducciones no se molestan en arreglarlos, es horrible.

Ich nutze Soundcloud eigentlich schon sehr lange. Aber was mich mittlerweile massiv stört die aggressive Werbung. Mal mitten im Set wird es unterbrochen. Das diese länge von der Werbung. Und die Preise sind viel zu teuer.. Preis-Leistung stimmt absolut nicht.

Their customer service just doen't exist, I filled a ticket 3 weeks ago with no answers. I paid the NEXT PRO, to monetize on my track, it's been 1 month and my tracks are still in review, without giving me any chance to do anything about that... and their customer service keep not answering, while they say that with NEXT PRO you should have a quicker customer service. I am speechless.
