this site eats email addresses. For a site that is RIDDLED with bots, their bot detection software is constantly flagging me as a bot. I have to do a test every time I like a track or follow someone. and then after a few days or maybe a week if im lucky, my account is automatically signed out. Then my account ceases to exist. the url shows nothing, all my tracks and stats and playlists are gone. when i try to sign up again (with the same email), I get flagged as a bot and get a "Something went wrong" error. Which means every time this happens i need to use a new email to use this stupid website again. Customer support is nonexistent. they email you a few lowball bullet points that are just saying "Maybe you're just too stupid to use our website, we won't put any effort into helping you though, figure it out for yourself" Im sick of this. Bye soundcloud.

They take down your work if any random person decides to make a report for any reason (jealousy) and when you dispute the infringement they take no notice of the case and give you a strike on your account. Their terms state that they have a three strike policy, then they have to permanently delete your account. My account has just been deleted with only one confirmed strike and I only disputed two tracks and it was all my own work. I paid a subscription. They email me back when i complained and told me I had three strikes which is impossible after only two disputes. They show zero evidence of this. They are happy enough to take peoples money but they have zero effort when it comes to being helpful to their long serving customers. They are now bordering on being scammers really. Sad they they were once a great platform.

there's no human to communicate with? There's no clear communication from support and I'm always bombarded by either autorepsonses AI, or copy paste cookie cutter responses. this platform is such a drag. You could repeat the same message over and over again and they will still send you the same responses they sent prior. I asked clarification as to why an old meme related track i made for fun was taken down but other iterations of the same "copyrighted" track are still allowed to exist in the platform. Their response was to ban me from my own account. No human response to anything at all or clarification. I only asked a question why? And all of my current original work now I no longer have access to. Thanks a lot for explaining and clarifying nothing Soundcloud support. That was really helpful. No wonder this platform is no longer as popular as it used to. Will take my music publishing somewhere else too if the customer service's standards of service are this poor for questions and clarifications. I'm so disappointed I invested in putting my all my audio work; original, unserious, and all for years in your hands. Will be sticking to Bandcamp from here on out. Would rather have human listeners and interactions instead of bots anyway.

Very annoying site that continually try to entrap you into subscribing with interruptions when listening to tracks. Same BS message which I just mute. Would not recommend! The need to change their approach to gaining subscribers. All they've achieved with me is annoyance at their expense!

I am really sad to write this review about SoundCloud, an app that I used to love. But I see with great sadness that it has become a cheap company trying to make a few extra bucks scamming customers. I was offered a FREE trial for SoundCloud Next Pro. I claimed it. My credit card was billed right away. I immediately cancelled and contacted support, clearly explaining that there had been a mistake, and asking for a refund. After ONE MONTH, they still haven't replied to me, saying that they receive a high volume of emails. Are you kidding me? This kind of behavior frustrates me and irritates me so much. A serious company would have answered and refunded me the very next day. Once you start seeing these red flags, you know it's time to say bye bye to an app or website for good.

Total scam! They have been charging me 2x subscriptions for one account, I emailed support and have been ignored

I thought I'd give them a bad mark, but I was surprised by the amount of dissatisfaction. Soundcloud for Artist has deleted all my releases and doesn't get back to me to explain why. I'm going to stop my subscription and delete all my remaining tracks. Avoid this site, I recommend Bandcamp instead. UPDATE: the reason is "fake stream or bots". Just when I started gaining royalties. They are thieves, they stole the royalties. Soundcloud Gop Fu*k yourself : )
