Don't use SOS, and make sure your data is saved elsewhere
I have used SOS for a few years and been reasonably happy but this year's renewal has changed my view. I was given very short notice that my account was due for renewal, and as I was about to go on holiday I had no time to back up my data before the account expired (it includes my business archive) so I had to renew. I couldn't find any account details showing my renewal dates on the website. I was told if I didn't renew there was no grace period and my data would be deleted. I reluctantly renewed. When I came back from holiday they had taken a payment higher than the amount agreed, which was already 3 times higher than the previous year's charge. After protesting they refunded the difference and only issued an invoice when pushed. Don't use them.
