Slowed my mac down and now I can't get rid of it. I've followed all the uninstall advice - from mac sites and Sophos - and some parts are still remaining. Since I deleted Sophos I can't empty my trash can either. Very invasive.. Don't use!

I receive their training videos that are super patriarchal and cheesy

Signed up to a free trial of Sophos Home Premium. As soon as the trial expired, more my traffic to more than 50% of websites started bing blocked. Needless to say I wasn't inspired with confidence so didn't convert to being a paid customer.

Thanks to Bing, I found out that Sophos had attempted to upload the following file onto a friend's web site: 171E92C18EEE40A29D1749C505091DFC_SOPHOS_WARN_PROCEEDED_FLAG I reported this to them and they promised an explanation but I have not received anything. That is illegal hacking. Do you really want to deal with a company that is involved in hacking?

Their home offering was good, but the recent changes have made it into golden wrapped crap. Official updates for Java development (oracle), The Document foundations Libreoffice.org, Apache foundations apps and much more OFFICIAL app installers and updates are blocked by thier AI, and Exploit mitigation, the program is so highly sensitive that its changed my mind from renewing and submitting samples to literally wanting to uninstall it as soon as my paid period is up. An AV should not INTERFERE with Daily operations!, an AV should have some LOCALIZED control in its agent not having to continuously connect to the cloud to apply a rule, why not make the agent sync with the cloud? Why is support not usefull but a bunch of wasted time? why can't i control my account not to auto-renew? without having to go to third-party billing partners? why has sophos went with the american (greed) profits model and quality has gone to the dogs? what happened to the Brits model of providing a decent offering?

Going in the right direction, new features are coming every day. Keep up the work!

Siamo un'Azienda di telecomunicazioni Internazionale ed avremmo voluto accedere ad una partnership collaborativa con SOPHOS ITALIA per poter rivendere i servizi security ai nostri clienti in Italia ed Europa. In oltre un mese di email e telefonate fatte a SOPHOS ITALIA non siamo riusciti ad attivare la partnership, o evidentemente a SOPHOS ITALIA non interessava più di tanto. Abbiamo compilato form su form ma nulla! Abbiamo pensato quindi di "VIRARE" su una partnership con un nome forse maggiormente conosciuto di sophos, ovvero KASPERSKY. In un paio d'ore dalla richiesta, KASPERSKY ha attivato la partnership ed abbiamo iniziato a proporre i servizi security alla clientela. SOPHOS ITALIA pessimo servizio, nella sede di ROMA non rispondono al telefono, nella sede di MILANO "prendono nota" ma poi non avvengono contatti. Se noi facessimo business in questo modo certamente non saremo dove siamo. Meditate.
