This is a review of the app, which is so mediocre that I did not proceed with booking a massage with this company.
The app basically only offers you the option to book a "blind" session, in which you are not able to select what therapist will come based on their feedback or you prior experience. Lunacy.
I immediately uninstalled the app.

I'm sorry you feel this way about your app experience. We thoroughly vet each therapist in our network to provide you with the best, most secure experience. If you enjoy your massage session, you are always able to go back and re-book with that same therapist. We hope you will revisit our service in the future. Please visit us at Soothe.com to learn more about Soothe. Thank you for your feedback.

Didn't help my neck feel better
She was very nice, but unfortunately the kink in my neck, that I woke up with, hurt a lot more after the massage than before.

Massages were good but we had trouble…
Massages were good but we had trouble booking them in our location so we decided to cancel. Chat service is awful. Canceled within a day of the automatic recurring credit and no refund and the remainder of the month you just paid for no longer qualified for discounted massages. Took 30minutes with the customer service to find this out. Beware of the "risk-free cancellation policy" and auto pay. For the premium your paying it just wasnt worth

Hello, cancellation and changes
Hello,
I have just booked an appointment and need to change the date to tomorrow - you have on your T&Cs cancellation is allowed but there is no link for this, nor is there any option without calling. Given that i am in UK - i do not want to call the customer helpline and have a very expensive phone bill.
There should be an easy way to change appintments. Please can you advise how to do this?
Thank you

Too much friction
It's Sunday, late morning, and I had the idea to order in 2 RMTs for my fiance and I. I had signed up a couple weeks ago for the $30 first time promo, so I went to do the same for him but when his account was created, it only showed a $20 credit even though the link I clicked on stated $30. After speaking to an unhelpful and slightly rude customer service representative, I decided not to make a big deal out of $10, and went ahead and individually ordered 2 RMTs to come to our condo within 1 hour. Not a good first impression, but I didn't want that to get in the way of what was to be a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Shortly after booking, my fiance gets a call from a customer concierge telling him that they're having a hard time finding a RMT to fulfill the 2:30 appointment, and that he's trying to find someone else for a later time. Then I received a text message saying essentially the same thing. I got on the phone with the same customer concierge, Skyler, who explained that Toronto is one of the newer cities to be added to Soothe, and it's difficult to find therapists at times, and that he will try to find a different appointment. Skyler was not rude, and tried to solve the problem, however after hanging up with him, my fiance and I were in terrible moods and were not getting a good vibe from this whole situation. So we decided to just cancel, after wasting a good hour of our time. I got back on the phone and spoke to Ruby, who was very pleasant and cancelled both our appointments, promising a full refund within a few business days. The only reason I am giving this company 2 stars instead of 1 is because of Skyler and Ruby's efforts to rectify the situation. It looks like the company is just not yet properly set up to handle the demands of the Toronto market. It's really too bad, as this sounds like a great business idea in theory, and one would expect the same service that is received by Uber (similar business model), however we both now have a bad first impression of this company and will most likely not try to use it again, or refer anyone else to Soothe.

Unable to provide therapists 3 out of 4 attempts.
Absolutely no urgency or customer support. They really didn't seem to care if they are unable to provide a therapist.

No quality control
The last masseuse showed up late and didn't even make up for lost time and give me a full hour. Better off going to a SPA where there is quality control.

Hi Gehan,
Thanks for writing in. I'm so sorry to hear about this experience! I can definitely understand your frustration with the massage therapist being late. I'm sure you're a busy person and this type of situation can interrupt your planning.
I saw in your profile that we gave you credit for a 60-minute massage. I'm glad that someone from our team was able to do this for you. I hope you are willing to give us another try and receive the proper Soothe experience.
Sincerely,

I need to give it some time.
I love the idea of this app. I travel a lot, have a stressful job, and often need to find a good massage when I'm on the road. Unfortunately there's just too many places I go where it's not available in the area, so it's really not of use to me. I'll try again in a year, maybe, and hope they've expanded their business by then.
