2/3 Campaigns Good…1/3 Campaign Bad
I’ve done three 7 day playlisting campaign with SongTools. 2/3 of them got a good amount of placements and plays from the playlists (8 placements for one song, and 3 placements for another). What is ST does not yank songs off playlists once a campaign is done. It is left up to the curator. I still have some on those playlists about a month after the campaigns ended. My third campaign was not great. ST did not land it on any playlists, yes, 0 playlists. I was pretty bummed. I emailed and asked if they do refunds in this situation, basically they said; ‘no, bc it’s real playlists/curators and not bots so it’s not up to them.’ I would have hoped they could have at offered to least extended the campaign until even one placement landed, or give me a discount code for another campaign. That third campaign felt like a total waste of money and time. Overall I’d give it a 66.6 out of 100, due to 2 good and 1 bad experience. They also need to have more genres to choose from when building a campaign. There’s no reason my dubstep song and my downtempo should only have the option by default to choose, ‘electronic’.
