SonderReviews of sonder.com

Hello , We are Staying in Sonder Dubai , JBR. Worst Management Ever. Their security is aggresive, front desk doesnt have any support for Guest relationship. Higher MANAGER is really bad. We had very bad Experience during our stay. They canceled our booking for no reason! They are rude , middle of COVİD 19 They destroy our plans. NO human sense!!!

No other company that I've dealt with in my entire life has been as blatantly corrupt as Sonder has with its response to Coronavirus. As someone with ties in the travel & hospitality industry, I know I'm not alone in my experience. The writing is on the wall for these guys...

If i could give no stars i would, this company is a total con! do not book with them. They let my booking go through and on the day of they cancelled it claiming its because it was a local booking, even though the night before they asked for my reasons why i was staying. I told them the reason and then they informed me of my check-in details, so I'm confused as to how a business can go back on their word last min. It's distasteful and bad customer service, i will not be spending my money with the company again and i advise you not to either!

So , I stayed in one of the Sonders in New Orleans on st rampart . When I got there it was not cleaned for 1 . For 2 they had somethings that were broken in the place , a hole in the wall , broken glass on the floor , and I broken wall lamp . We had a mini get together it was not loud at all . And they kicked us out and rushed us out . They were very inconsiderate. We had to clean the AirBNB ourselves and they was so rude . However before I booked I was aware 3 other people before me to get put out and not even get their money back . It definitely false advertisement. When I booked it they made it seem like it was a whole House to yourself . When I got there I found out it was an apartment. The pool was very small . But on the picture it showed a nice size . I was not pleased. It was a Sonder Artist Loaf. It was on 2317 N Rampart . I wouldn’t recommend no one. Book there

Booked a studio on their website, the photos that were shown were not the ones that appeared after making the payment. They were totally different. I received a link where the real photos were shown after payment. They claimed that it is written on the page "The layout, furniture, and decor of your space may vary from what's shown here ..", so basically the probability of getting the house you see in the photos is practically zero. And of course they don't return the money.. AVOID THEM IT'S A SCAM !!

We booked a stay with Sonder via Booking.com prior to COVID-19 which obviously has been cancelled due to current circumstances. While many companies reasonably modified their cancellation/ reschedule policies - offering free cancellations or at least credits back toward future use - Sonder refuses to offer any flexibility around their policies and instead chooses to take advantage of the situation by charging you for full without fail despite the fact there is absolutely nothing a customer can do to travel/ use their service during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. This is simply not right and not how a moral, upstanding business should be run. This is how you guarantee that your business will NOT survive post-crisis. Please do not repeat my mistake and do not let them scam you out of your money.

Very misleading and a bit of a scam. Advertised rates are not the real rates. I have questioned why the price goes up upon booking. The answer they gave was that it was the cost of an average night and they would vary. This is clearly a lie, because if it was an average rate, you’d be able to find some nights lower than what they advertise. That’s how averages work. Yet you won’t find one. Refused to honour the advertised rate. This is clearly a complete con and I will be reporting you to the ASA.

I would urge anyone to not stay at any of these properties, I booked a stay at the New Orleans property and had to cancel due to corona virus travel restrictions, they refused to refund my money or credit me another stay at a later date. They lack the moral value worthy of your hard earned money.
