Worst company to deal with. I have already stayed 5 months at these apartments through sonders. The company lacks customer service. They haven’t cleaned the apartment for my whole stay because of COVID. I understand that but staying here for 5 months and not having adequate supplies to clean is not right. They don’t provide a vacuum just a broom. I had a roach in the apartment and asked them to come and clean it took them two days to reply and get someone. They told me I needed to step out of the apartment for the cleaning lady and I did and when I got back they hadn’t even come. They said that the cleaning lady couldn’t make it that day but they didn’t even inform about it until I asked. Another situation occur this month I got bitten by bugs in multiple spots on their couch. They couldn’t do anything for three days . And they said they would send out a exterminator for it but didn’t give an exact time. I am a medical student and I have a strict schedule I can’t be waiting around for someone to show the whole day and leave the apartment for four hours. This company is terrible dealing with customers. Do not stay with them.

Sonder emailed only a few hours prior to our check in time to say that they had a long term customer require the property and that our booking was cancelled despite the booking being made months prior and fully paid. We were on our way to the London location fully packed with 3 kids! Never again - terrible service!!!

I rented Sonder unit #1134 on 2nd Street in Phoenix. It was the WORST rental experience I have ever had and would provide a no star rating if it was an option. This was a 29-day rental that I chose based on the photos and statements about cleanliness in Sonder's marketing materials. Indeed, there were significantly less expensive options on Airbnb but I believed Sonder's marketing. Bad move. What I found: a dead cockroach in the kitchen, badly stained shower curtain, dead bugs on the floors and windowsills, an area rug that was stained so badly that the original color could only be determined by turning the rug over, seat cushions on the two bar stool seats that were filthy, and pans and dishes that may or may not have been cleaned recently. In addition, there is construction of an apartment building right outside the door that begins by 6 a.m. every morning except Sunday and occasionally occurs in the middle of the night. And the trash dumpsters are 10 yards from the patio outside the unit, are full much of the time and, in the Phoenix sun, get ripe quickly. I started the complaint process three days into the rental; despite repeated promises from various customer service reps to clean the unit, remove the rug, replace the shower curtain, etc., they dropped off a shower curtain 5 days later, sent an exterminator 6 days later, claimed they cleaned the rug (I was away for 24 hours visiting relatives during which time they claimed to have performed the cleaning; I found crumbs in the rug under the coffee table upon my return) and, after 2+ weeks of all of this, Sonder said it would not send a cleaning crew. Based on my experience, I can say that the Sonder team in Phoenix misrepresents the cleanliness and overall quality of the units they deliver and the services they provide. In no circumstances are their units worth top-of-the-market rates and anyone renting from them should ask for proof of cleaning before renting. After waiting two weeks to say they would not clean the unit and after reporting this matter to Amex and Airbnb, Sonder agreed to refund the portion of my rental fee attributable to nights I am not in the unit if I move out. The continuing promises to clean delayed my opportunity to accept an offer I would have gladly accepted after a week or less of Sonder's refusal to clean.

I sadly did not do more research on this company and relied on the appealing pictures and location of the area. BAD MISTAKE on my part! There is no customer service, they denied my early check in and was not helpful in accommodating. I stayed in their Philadelphia location and it was so small and the washer and dryer did not work. There was also so much dust in the residents. Also, while trying to reach out to their customer service for my NY location, I could not reach anyone from their support team. I had been ob hold for over 45 min. I would NOT recommend doing business with this company. I even reached out and sent messages to their staff on LinkedIn.

Worse customer service than cable companies. I'd rather deal with Comcast. A new person (some min wage 20 year old) is assigned for every new interaction. EVERY NEW INTERACTION. Not every new issue, every INTERACTION. So they have to re-read the whole context again and end up saying something along the lines of "thanks for reaching out we'll look into it and get back to you ASAP :D!" then nothing happens. A bunch of headless chickens running around and pretending like they have a job.

Just go to a hotel! I have stayed there twice and both times i had a bad experience. 1st time: I spent two hours outside the building to get my keycode as the original keycode was wrong by them. 2nd time: they canceled my reservation 10 hours before check-in for a plumbing issue and directed me to a cheaper alternative. I'm currently struggling to get the difference in pay. Customer service is shocking...it's in America and it takes a verrrrry long time to get connected. Overall: terrible experience

Horrible experience with Sonder and VRBO. I made a reservation on VRBO with Sonder Management group for a San Diego apartment. VRBO charged me with their service fee and confirmed that the reservation was active. Sonder sends me an email telling me that the reservation has not been made because payment has not been received. They send me a separate link for payment which made me suspicious. I decided to cancel and when I tried with Sonder, they told me to cancel with VRBO and VRBO told me Sonder needs to cancel the reservation, needless to say - neither company knows what is going on. Glad I saved myself the headache since reading the reviews this property management company is a No Bueno customer-friendly company.

Stay away ! You try to shorten your reservation due to COVID and they do not care. Once you make the reservation you are DONE they don’t give a S* to you. Loosing almost $1k. Never using them again
