Do not book! I’ve booked with minor issues in the past but this time I was given a completely different apartment than what I booked. Customer service agent was rude. Was told a unit was available then when I called it wasn’t. Offered $50 but I told them I got $100 last time for reporting vomit in the hallway. Put me on hold for 30 mins then came back and told me I can’t get any credit. Complete waste of almost an hour

Don’t not I repeat do not stay at this “ hotel” biggest rip off I’ve ever encountered! I booked 3 nights and the checkin was the worse I’ve ever experienced. They make you create an account and give cc details to secure damages which is expected but they actually charge you for damages you did not incur. I accidentally left behind a top, some loose change and my tooth brush and they charged me £129 pounds for a “deep clean”. They then threatened me and said that I cannot challenge this and they will take the money from me regardless. Absolutely disgusting language they use, completely threatening and no care for the customer. The bathtub plug did not work, no one at check in, and the room smelt damp. Definitely not worth the £110 a night I paid for. They then tell you it’s time to check out but there is no option or instructions on how to check out. Such a confusing set up and they obviously make their money from security deposits as you can get a much better room for way less in London and least you have able bodies to help you check in and out. In conclusion do not ever book this hotel or company. They are so dishonest and only want your money and don’t care one bit about you as a customer.

Arrived here for a 12-night stay no water in the building. The people at the front desk would barely talk to you as soon as they find out you are a Sonder client. Lots of nice pictures but the reality is far off!! Called for a change of towels, it took 24 hours to get them. Called and paid $95 + tax for my room to be cleaned, 24 hours later it still has not been done. Pretty much no one to talk to, all is handled by text and email. This is the worse experience Inhave had anywhere in the world and I do my share of travelling across continents.

Awful “company” if you can even call it that. Seems to be people working part time in the basements. No office, no management, no phone number, no ethics, and no standards. Nobody has a clue what they’re talking about and as a result I lost $832. Do not even trust what they have in writing because they won’t honor it. Complete false advertising and illegal and I will continue to pursue recourse against the crappy company. They could care less about a pandemic or their customers

This is not a company with values. IT IS A JOKE. If you book your stay in 2020 and have to cancel afterwards due to corona, your money is turned into "credits", and expires after a year in 2021 even though due to corona restrictions you are still prohibited to travel from EU to USA. Customer service - horrible and just write the same thing every time. Fingers away and you will save your money and nerves!!!!

Sonder is truly horrible! The studio apt that I stayed in in Nashville was filthy. Food debris covering the balcony floor. But was most disgusting was the black mold covering the shower stall walls and floor. I’ll never stay at a Sonder again!

Terrible "hotel" experience. Totally not as advertised on their cutesy website. Stayed there 10 minutes and left. Drove around San Antonio until Hyatt gave us rooms. We called Sonder multiple times to get a refund--they kept telling us they were going to help--no help after 4 calls. We'll file a dispute with our credit card, and maybe with the city of San Antonio

They cancelled my reservation one day before I arrived and left me and my family -including children- stranded in NY. They DID have the space to accommodate us but we wanted more money for it. They never responded to my concerns. Worst experience with a hospitality company I can remember. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. IT IS A SCAM UPDATE: A more senior representative reached out to apologize for the event and acknowledged they could have handle it better. They refunded me my payment and provided Sonder credits which helps with the blow.
