This was the worst hotel ever. I dont recommend anybody to go there. Nobody come and clean your room. Nobody is helpful. I took a mug from the room with coffee and check out. I was waiting in the hall 2h cause my flight was late. One of the employer came and was so rude for the mug that i took down.

Do NOT stay at a Sonder. The buildings were poorly built. The shower is ridiculous - it was impossible to take a shower without spraying water all over. The apartment was cleaned, but poorly. The tables were smeared with something. The sheets were scratchy. By far the worst part... when we arrived, the door code we were provided did not work. Someone who worked in the building was able to use his phone to let us in, however it took another 3 calls to customer service and 3 chat conversations to get a working code. Several times we were told that someone would be arriving shortly, but no one did. In the end, it took us 2 hours to get a working door code. During that time, we didn't want to leave in case we couldn't get back in. I am usually a patient & understanding person, but this was unacceptable.

Sonder’s locations are great, the design of their rooms is minimal but functional. Stylish and durable. But as a “app-based” company they seriously need to work on coordination to service the people who are paying for these “premium” rentals. To request anything on their app you have to text with an offsite support person, waiting minutes (sometimes hours) for a response, getting transferred between agents willy-nilly mid-conversation. I had to hound them for days in order to get my room cleaned and linens changed.

Sonder St Helene New Orleans I booked this for an extended weekend after having an absolutely wonderful experience at one of the Sonders in Philadelphia last fall. I arrived to St Helene to find the entrance door lock broken so anyone could walk right into the building regardless of the "keypad" next to the door. After getting up to my room, the door to the room was stuck. It was a struggle to open and an even bigger struggle to close. We then checked the balcony door and after managing to get it open, it would not close no matter how hard we tried. We then discovered bugs crawling around in the bathroom shower and decided we'd had enough. I love an old building and the character it provides, I was REALLY looking forward to staying here. But if the building is not taken care of, this is what you get. We left 15 minutes after arriving and booked a room elsewhere. I ate the money I spent to stay at the Sonder St Helene. There was no way I was staying in a place where I couldn't trust the security of the room and showering with bugs.

I am staying at a Sonder location in Boston for cancer treatment at a local hospital. The Sonder apartment has sticky floors, the shower did not drain, and a Sonder employee stole one of my packages (shown on security camera footage from building security). When we asked about the stolen package, the Sonder customer service representative said they returned it to sender on the day it was delivered. The security footage shows otherwise. I will not stay with Sonder again. If you’re looking for a better alternative, I had a great experience with Blueground.

This is such a scammy horrible company. From the broken promise of 40% off discount for long stays (it was not 40%) to wildly fluctuating monthly charges without simple things as receipts and a track record of what is being charged to unhelpful customer service: my 6 month stay with them was a nightmare from start to finish. They took three weeks to share with me my new rate which made me miss the grace cancellation period when I brought that up the girl arbitrarily took off 7 days. Then when I left they were trying to double book which I pointed out was illegal; after hours on the phone they promised me a refund for the days I hadn't stayed and then the next day charged me a cancellation fee that included two extra days where I wasn't there and a receipt that showed no refund was due. Then refused to refund me event though they essentially made it so I missed my deadline. 0/10. Horrible company

What used to be seamless rentals in stylish flats (rented in 2020 in London and 2021in Miami), this summer’s rental was a mess when we wanted to give the one-month notice and check out 10 days earlier of a 3-month rental. What’s worse is we also had a 6-month long term booking in London for October 1st which Sonder cancelled without giving an equivalent alternative putting us in the terrible situation of having to scramble and find another long-term rental with such short notice. Unfortunately won’t be using or recommending them again.

Please never book any Sonder hotel. I hade the worst experience in my hotel life. Firstly the check/in process is quite useless and too complicated, they want unnecessary information and verify your credit using zip code. It took us a week to verify the card. But that isn’t the biggest problem. A day before check in they just cancelled the reservation though I have already paid. Giving absolutely senseless reasons. They didn’t propose any compensation and just asked to wait for refund 10 working days. The sonder hotel system just doesn’t work. I deeply regret about booking them and I don’t recommend sonder to anyone
