SonderReviews of sonder.com

Stayed in Nashville Tennessee and by far the best stay away from home I’ve had the pleasure to walk into. I arrived today and the place was immaculate. Everything from top to bottom was sooo clean. My mom and I walked in and immediately we were met with smells of sanitized and clean surfaces. The stay is such a great location and very easy to follow and smooth check in! Anyone looking to stay in Nashville COME HERE you won’t be disappointed or dissatisfied!☺️

I was very happy with my visit to one of Sonder's Philadelphia sites. Room was immaculate, new and fully equipped. Almost everything worked well, including door code, wifi, appliances. The Nest heating control was badly programmed and hard to fix. The app was difficult to use for contacting customer service, but they did provide the things I asked for. The local manager was a delight. I am shocked to read so many negative reviews here about Sonder. I guess they have different management for different sites. I also found their processing of the payment, and their security requirement and photos a bit surprising and intrusive. They have had a data breach, so this is potentially a huge risk.

Easy booking Easy access Great set up and accommodations for my business trip Highly recommend to anyone traveling for pleasure or work

The Sonder in Austin TX is AMAZING! Super clean, great location and the 24/7 concierge was super helpful on the app if I needed ice trays or help with anything. Couldn’t recommend it enough! This is my 4th time here in Austin and it’s always been great

I visited Sonder Le Frochot booking through the sonder app. Everything went fine. It is a hotel with nice on-site staff (english/french). The room was as advertised and really nice. We had room 21 on the street side. Little noise, possibly on saturday night you might have noise from people going out. But no issue sunday to wednesday. Airco works well which is good with this heatwave. The trustpilot reviews scared me a bit, but booking.com and google reviews for this specific location are really good. It seems Sonder has issues with some locations and possibly through airbnb. I would just crosscheck the location with other review websites and also if its a hotel probably it is better than random location. Also used the app chat to confirm my booking which they did. Probably contact w CS is unhelpful when you have a special case as some people described below. I don't necessarily expect a better experience through other platforms though. You could book this also through booking for a bit more and get better cancellation policy. The app works really smooth. The mentioned passport/id check is a bit elaborate but any hotel has to keep some record of this. Would rather have them also allow covering up certain parts of ID so it can not be reused in fraud as someone mentions in a review. But its not like most hotels/platforms follow this (mandatory) rule yet. All in all would reuse Sonder, but with slight caution still. And possibly would book somewhere else if it has better cancellation/rescheduling policy.

We loved Sonder! We stayed at Sonder Court Square, Long Island, New York City. Both the room and the staff were excellent to us. The room had all the amenities we needed. The only bad thing we can say about it is that if the windows are open the metro is pretty noisy. Other than that, great!!

I stayed at The Continental in San Diego for an anniversary, and it was such a good time 😊 I read the reviews before going, and a lot of them were ab how the customer service was not good. I called and texted them a bunch of times at their service number before going for peace of mind lol and they were so helpful and nice every time! Getting all the info beforehand definitely made everything so smooth. They even gave us little wine bottles and roses and candles in the room, it made our trip😊 The room was amazing and it was so clean! The bed was even comfier than mine at home and I slept so good. The checkin process is so easy, but can be complicated if you don’t figure it out before going, so I’d recommend asking a bunch of questions before check in! But it really was better than any hotel I’d been to, it was like having our own place and I loved it so much! It made our anniversary amazing and I miss our room, I definitely am going to book again🥲Thank you Sonder for our amazing stay and the kindest staff!

We stayed at the Sonder in Westminster - Arts Council, London. Incredible property and phenomenal service. I don't think I will ever be going back to booking 5 star hotels anymore. Sonder is the way to go!
