We are based in India and worked with Ms. Cathleen Sheils at Solomon Admissions Consulting for our son's undergraduate admission to US colleges. It has been a very pleasant and enriching experience to work with Ms Sheils, as she was completely engaged to understand our son's interests and his strengths and future plans and accordingly suggest the relevant major options and aspects to be worked upon to strengthen his profile. During the journey of 2 years, when his trajectory went through ups and down, Ms Sheils was extremely helpful in navigating the same, pivoting the application and addressing the difficult areas. We also appreciate systematic and organized approach followed by Ms Sheils and the way she guided us how to approach each specific aspect of the application and the essays. We are extremely satisfied and grateful to have walked this significant journey with Ms Sheils. Thank you Ms Sheils and Solomon Admissions Consulting for all your support.

We used Solomon Admissions Consulting for our daughter who was a rising senior. We are very pleased with our consultant Ms. Olivia Han. She was extremely professional throughout the whole process. Olivia always answers our emails in a timely manner. During our scheduled zoom meeting, she always explained things in details, never ever we felt we were rushed. She was very knowledgeable about the whole college application process and helping my daughter setting up a well balanced college list based on her stats. Overall, we are satisfied with Solomon’s service and positively benefited from hiring it as our consultant for college application.

Our experience with Peter Zimmerman was life changing in our daughter's admissions journey. Mid junior year, we realized near-perfect SATs, grades, and a pile of impressive extracurriculars are likely not enough for admission to Ivies and T20 schools—because schools look for a narrative theme tying all a student's activities together. Although Solomon emphasizes 'strategic positioning' in their online material, Peter worked with our daughter to craft a narrative that felt like it perfectly represented who our daughter was, making her unique traits shine through. Many STEM families likely over-emphasize every technical EC success in their student's record, but Peter taught us that top schools also want to see a deeply humanistic side of even science and engineering students. With this guidance, Peter helped our daughter craft a compelling narrative that truly embodies her most unique qualities. The help from Peter in planning essays was incredible—and once again, we saw our daughter's true profile reflected in the applications she submitted. I'm thrilled to say our daughter was accepted to an upper-tier Ivy that was her first-choice school, and she can enjoy her second senior semester now without the stress of college admissions hanging over her. Thank you to Peter and Solomon for this wonderful outcome.

My son worked with Matthew Tatelman for the past cycle. We could not have asked for a better human to guide us through the entire process. He was attentive, detailed, insightful, and provided caring and thoughtful advice throughout. He was responsive to all of our questions and concerns and went out of his way to address urgent issues that popped up. Our son was accepted ED to Brown, and if we could give 10 stars, we would! Thank you Matt and Solomon!

I had an awesome experience working with Matthew Tatelman during this admissions season. He always gave honest, personalized advice on both my application strategy and writing and I am very grateful for his guidance. Mr. Tatelman and Solomon were extremely helpful in relieving stress and answering any questions I had. Highly recommend!!!

Our son worked with Will Giles on his college admission since his sophomore year. Our goal was for him to get into an Ivy League school while pursuing what he’s truly passionate about. From the very beginning, the process felt thoughtful, organized, and methodical. * Will helped us figure out appropriate extracurricular activities, internships and publications opportunities * The college list was selected in partnership with our family while still allowing our son to drive the process * We always knew the deadlines for every college essay and application, and Will kept the entire process on track. Ultimately, our son got accepted into his first-choice school! We could not have done this without Will. What made the process so positive was that it never felt pressured. There was no rush to make decisions, and most importantly, many choices were made collaboratively between our son and his advisor. Having a non-parent professional nudge our son in the right direction was critical for our sanity! We wholeheartedly recommend Will!

Our experience with Solomon Admissions Consulting was transformative, providing a level of expert guidance we didn't think was possible. From day one, their team of former admissions officers provided an 'inside scoop' that completely reshaped our approach to the 2025 application cycle. What stood out most was their unwavering support in structuring a personal research project tailored to my daughter’s specific interests. Solomon didn't just give advice; they provided a roadmap that allowed her to showcase her initiative and immense strength in Chemistry. They guided her through every phase—from the initial hypothesis to the rigorous process of publishing her research in a professional industry magazine. This level of specialized achievement became the 'hook' of her application, demonstrating a level of Intellectual Vitality that elite colleges crave. The guidance throughout the entire process was seamless. Our consultant, Cathleen Sheils was a constant advocate, helping us navigate everything from 'Strategic Positioning' to the final polish of her supplemental essays. They turned a stressful, complex journey into a structured path to success. Thanks to Solomon’s high-touch approach and strategic brilliance, my daughter’s profile was elevated from a strong student to a published researcher with a compelling, unique narrative.

We used Solomon Consulting for both prep school and college admissions—I got into both of my first-choice schools: Milton Academy and MIT! For the college process, I worked with Mr. Drew Scopelliti, and I cannot recommend him enough. Even if I had a small question, he always made sure to find time in his schedule to meet. He also had a quick turnaround time for looking over essays and knew my profile like the back of his own hand. Also, compared to other admissions consulting services, we found Solomon far more reasonable in price, which is always a plus.
