Solomon Admissions Consulting has been an invaluable resource for us. They provided a roadmap and strategy beginning sophomore year to shape a high impact plan around my student's interests. Our consultant provided ongoing feedback on additional activities and responded to questions, promptly, as we they arose. When it was time to write application essays, it was seamless since the efforts of the past 3 years had been spent with a purpose and strategy. Having that plan helped my student make decisions on how to allocate time (his most precious resource) and avoid getting burned out in a hypercompetitive environment. It also allowed him to pursue his interests while still building a strong profile for college admissions.

The consultant we used, Jina Walker, was truly exceptional. She recommended an excellent strategy and theme for my son's application, which no doubt was pivotal in his acceptance at the University of Michigan. She also was very patient with him when his essays weren't the quality she was looking for. Don't hesitate to hire Solomon; it's without a doubt, worth the expense.

Solomon performed on all levels with no flaws. Always an email away and responses very quick as we had things come up and wanted advice. The standard ongoing consulting is also very well thought out and our specific consultant was very knowledgeable and well matched to our daughter.

We have now worked with Shayla at Solomon with two of our high school children. Shayla has been absolutely outstanding and if I could give her 10 out of 5 stars I would. She has helped us navigate the confusing world of college admissions with ease. She gives the kids clear direction, attainable goals, and has answered innumerable questions from me and the kids. She has undoubtably given our kids the best chance possible to get into their desired colleges.

I used this company for my twin boys. The advisor was a recent graduate of a well-known school in Chicago. When she no showed for one of our Zoom meetings, it must have rang an alarm bell, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt. The whole thing was a disaster. They would proof read the essays and would sent them back with significant basic errors which they had created, that we had to correct ourselves.
