We ordered a sample pack with four colors and were extremely disappointed with the quality. The black was more of a medium-dark gray, and one flower arrived already missing a petal. The dark red and merlot were dull, lifeless, and looked like artificial flowers from decades ago that had been left to collect dust. For the price and the quality they advertise, we expected significantly better. The advertised squeeze test was another letdown: the petals cracked and exposed the white material underneath with very little pressure. The flowers themselves felt like styrofoam or the thin packing sheets used between cheap cabinet boards. These looked and felt cheap, lacked the rich colors we were expecting, and did not inspire any confidence in their durability. Based on this sample pack, we would not feel comfortable using these flowers for something as important as our wedding. We're glad we ordered samples before committing to a larger purchase, but the experience was still a major disappointment.

Worst online company!
I ordered flowers in early September for my daughter's wedding on 10/24. Long story short - for a solid week the order was missing and today I get an email from UPS stating they will arrive 10/26. No apologies, no response to my request for a refund, just a string of runaround emails. Do NOT order from this company unless you are doing it minimum of 2 months in advance. Just for comparison, my daughter ordered a custom-made dress from another site the same weekend and it arrived 2 weeks ago.

The flowers did not ship in the amount…
The flowers did not ship in the amount of time that they specified. It took weeks for a basic order, and it did not arrive in time for the wedding. They refused to do a refund, even though it didn’t ship till weeks after the promised by date. The customer service was absolutely awful.

Buyer beware if you expect to get your order
If I could give them a lower rating I would. This could possibly be one of the worst companies ever. I ordered flowers for decorations, bouquets, and boutonnierre's. My order was placed within the timeframe stated. I was sent a text that my order was ready to ship but tracking was never updated because they had lost my order at their warehouse. When they finally found it they shipped it out knowing it would not arrive in time for my son's wedding. Instead of enjoying time with my family I was frantically running around to wholesalers and stores to pull some flowers together. They refuse to give a refund and of course there is no way to communicate except through email.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Extremely Disappointed
Extremely Disappointed – Flowers Arrived AFTER My Wedding!
I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Sola Wood Flowers. I ordered flowers for one of the most important days of my life, MY WEDDING, and unfortunately, they didn’t arrive until AFTER my wedding day! I trusted this company to deliver something so important, and they completely let me down.
Imagine being a bride, already dealing with the stress of planning a wedding, and having to scramble at the very last minute to find another vendor just so I could have flowers for my special day. I had to spend additional money and deal with unnecessary stress because my original order didn’t arrive on time.
A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and there are no do-overs. The disappointment and frustration I experienced are unacceptable. Brides should be able to trust a company when ordering something so important.
I would NOT recommend Sola Wood Flowers to any bride planning her wedding. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and last-minute panic. Unfortunately, my experience with this company was a complete disappointment.

A Company That Promises to Reduce…
A Company That Promises to Reduce Wedding Stress but Added to Mine
I wanted to share my experience with Sola Wood Flowers, especially for other brides considering purchasing their wedding flowers.
I ordered flowers for my October 3 wedding. Unfortunately, I overlooked their 22-business-day production timeframe, and I want to be completely transparent that this was my mistake. I have acknowledged that from the very beginning.
However, what has been most disappointing is not the production timeline itself, but how Sola Wood Flowers handled the situation afterward.
Sola markets itself as a company that understands the challenges brides face, helps reduce wedding planning stress, offers affordable alternatives to traditional wedding flowers, and prioritizes customer satisfaction.
But where are those values when a bride actually needs help?
As soon as I realized my mistake, I contacted their customer service team and offered to pay extra to expedite production and shipping. When they confirmed that my flowers could not arrive before my wedding, I requested a cancellation and refund.
When that was denied, I tried to compromise. I offered to pay for any work already completed or costs incurred. I even suggested that they resell or repurpose my arrangements for another customer.
I didn't request custom colors or a unique color combination. I simply selected Silver Sage, a standard color offered on their website. Given that my order still hasn't shipped, I genuinely don't understand why the company couldn't at least explore whether these arrangements could be used for another customer who selects the same design and color.
Instead, every suggestion was rejected, with repeated explanations of their policies and production process.
I work in Customer Success myself, so I understand why businesses have policies, operational limitations, and production timelines. I also understand that exceptions aren't always possible.
But I strongly believe that great customer service isn't defined by how well a company enforces its policies. It's defined by how willing it is to listen, show empathy, and explore reasonable solutions when something goes wrong.
Throughout this experience, I repeatedly requested that my situation be escalated to a manager who could consider a one-time exception. Despite those requests, I have not received clear confirmation that someone with the authority to make that decision has actually reviewed my case.
My wedding has now come and gone. I had to spend additional money purchasing replacement flowers, and as of October 14, my original order still hasn't shipped.
Planning a wedding is already incredibly stressful and expensive. Brides are juggling countless responsibilities, deadlines, and vendors, often while trying to stay within a budget.
Sola Wood Flowers specifically appeals to brides by offering a more affordable and less stressful alternative.
Instead of saving money, I spent more. Instead of reducing stress, this added to it. Instead of feeling supported as a bride, I felt like I was talking to a policy rather than a person.
I am not asking Sola to take responsibility for my original ordering mistake. I have owned that mistake every step of the way. I am asking why a company that emphasizes understanding brides and customer satisfaction seems unwilling to consider a reasonable, one-time exception, especially when I have offered multiple compromises.
I recognize that my order is still within their stated production timeframe. My disappointment is with the customer service experience and the lack of flexibility, not an allegation that they missed their promised shipping deadline.
Company values shouldn't just be words on a website. They should be reflected in how customers are treated, especially when circumstances aren't perfect.
I sincerely hope Sola Wood Flowers reconsiders how it handles situations like this. I also encourage other brides to carefully review their production timelines, cancellation policies, and customer reviews before placing an order.
I wish my experience had been different, especially with a company whose entire business revolves around one of the most meaningful days of someone's life.

Wedding order won't arrive until after…
Wedding order won't arrive until after our wedding, and they won't refund a cent
My fiancée ordered Build It For Me flowers for our wedding on September 18. Our wedding is October 17. On October 6 we found out the order wouldn't ship until about October 21, four days after the wedding. That date had never been made clear to us when we ordered.
We asked about rushing it. Their expedited production option would actually ship it later, on October 22, and they said overnight shipping can't help because nothing ships before the wedding. Then we asked for our money back, and they refused to refund anything. So we're paying full price for wedding flowers that arrive after the wedding.
Getting hold of anyone is hard too. Their contact page warns that every new email opens a new ticket and sends you to the back of the line. Try to find a phone number for them, good luck. After finally finding one the voicemail states they don’t return calls.
If you have a wedding date, don't trust this company with it. Check the BBB and Trustpilot reviews first. Ours is far from the only wedding they've missed.
